Oh, by the way, if anyone was wondering where I was on Saturday, Evan took his womenfolk to the L.A. Zoo. All those animals and all Renee was interested in seeing was the water.

"Water!"

"Yes Sweetie, but look at the albino alligator."

"Water!"

*sigh*

That was more or less how the day went; she was either looking at the water, or this one Monarch butterfly that seemed to be stalking us (I'm not kidding! That butterfly followed us halfway around the park. I think we lost him at the aviary. o.O).

After looking at whatever animals there were (most of the exhibits were closed for remodeling) we hit the gift shops. First one I walked into had baby penguins for me to squeal over so I snagged that, walked Renee around so that she could find something, when she didn't I went and got in line to pay. Evan then had Renee walk up to me with a stuffed skunk, which caused me to squeal all over again and cry to him over making me have to choose.
He told me to get them both since we didn't know when the next time it would be that I found either of these, then took Renee to another shop while I bought my dolls.
I find them both in the next one, and finally we were able to get Renee to pick something out (she's trained to put down whatever she picks up) and man, did that give me a guilt-trip; Combined, my dolls costed $30, what does she choose? A $4 plastic flamingo head on a stick that makes squeaking sounds when you open and close it's mouth. gonk blaugh

But I finally have my skunk and baby penguin dolls on my desk.

I think the penguin makes Seymour uncomfortable

Oh yeah, we found out that people are really stupid! Evan and I were at the Komodo Dragon exhibit and this is literally what we heard next to us;

"Wow! I didn't know that dragons really exsisted."

Ow. My brain.

Had to get Evan away before he made two japanese high school girls cry.
