She's back! My ship is back and fully functional!
Looking down at my new chibi form [+1], I sighed.
"What just the hell just happened?" Harper asked, drawing his gun and aiming it at me.
"I've been chibified," I replied, turning to look at Harper--only now I had to look UP at him instead of DOWN. Holding up my hand to stop him from talking, I said, "Long story."
Tilting her head to the left while looking at me, Rommie said, "There are no anolomies in your genetic make up that I can dectect."
"Andromeda," Nissa said, placing a hand on the android's shoulder. "I've been travelling with her for many years now and even I can't figure it out."
As I turned to say the code to reactivate Nerissa Altsoba's mainframe, there was a sudden flash of light to my left. Turning to look I saw that where Bubba had been sitting was now a Orly. Drawing Ryu with my tail, I pointed the tip at the Orly and asked, "Can you speak?"
"Little," the Orly replied. "No attack. I Bubba."
"You're Bubba?" I asked, lifting the point of Ryu a little.
"Yes. No. Now Bankosu." [+2]
"Which is it. You either are or you aren't."
"It's Bubba alright," Nissa said, standing next to me and looking inquisitively at the Orly. "He's...evolved."
"How do you go from Yeti to Orly?" I asked. Shaking my head, I said, "Know what? I don't care at the moment. I just want my Nerissa Altsoba back."
"Me too," Nissa said. Looking about, she said, "Next person who interrupts Dragon will be killed."
Placing my hand on the control panel, I read off ten codes in draconic language from memory. Each code I read off represented one of the ten dragon clans. Looking back at Nissa, I nodded and stepped aside for her to add the finishing touch--a small surge of power.
At first, there was nothing. Then a low buzz filled the air that only I could hear. Finally, the lights on the mainframe began to flicker into life. A minute later, a hologram of Nissa appeared next to me and an image of her flickered onto a display screen.
"Diagonostic check," the two Nerissa's said at the same time, rolling their eyes up and to the right. "Complete. No errors found from the system crash. Processing systems are running at...fifty percent more than they used to."
"Thanks to me," Harper said stepping forward. I pushed him back.
"I am fully operational," the Nerissa's said, smiling.
"Welcome back," I said. Laughing, I watched as Nissa hugged the computer mainframe.

[+2] Say ban-KO-sue. Not to be confused with Bankotsu which is said the same way.
