Okay, so I just got back from visiting Marietta College today. I'd have to say that the campus is really nice and the academics are well planned out. I'm really interested in going for Education and Marietta starts you out right in the classroom your first semester. The Professors are really into helping the students out which is a major plus. However, tuition is $31,000 a year eek But hopefully once I fill out my FAFSA form it won't cost that much. But the thing that has me worried the most is lodging, I'm not really into dorm rooms. I'm also worried about leaving Kyle behind if I do go to Marietta. Would he really wait for me? Of course he would, but for how long? Is four years going to put a stretch into our relationship? He has mentioned proposing to me many times. I was mostly hoping to go to OUE and get an apartment in Bethesda or somewhere around the area. But if I go to Marietta and get an apartment around there, then how would I be able to pay rent and tuition? My top choice is OUE then Marietta, I'm starting to check out Muskingum, which is between Cambridge and Zanesville. I can handle living in Cambridge, but can Kyle? I'm trying to think of what would be better for both of us whenever we live together. Kyle's doing an online college, which means it wouldn't really matter where we live. It's just the getting a job and paying for rent and tuition that worries me. Whenever I get my paychecks, they will mostly go for those things, then other bills and gas. I will definitely save my money and will not waste it on material stuff unless I absolutely need it.
