Man, I hate to get emo this early in a journal-type thing, but it's kind of required after a certain argument I had.
Rationality is not a stupid concept. People do not understand the unlimited power of the human psyche. You can change yourself. You can choose motives. You can convince yourself of things. Your identity is subject only to your own imagination. Do you want to build up enough hate to kill someone? Go ahead; it's easy. Do you want to become emotional in front of your friends? Do it; a simple procedure. It's not difficult.
It takes a long time, for some people, to build this realization. It takes seeing a lot of irrational people fail to control their emotions. However, it could also take ten minutes; ten seconds. Whose philosophy would you like to accept? Buddha's? Make it happen. Nietzsche's? "God is dead; for pity of man he has died." That was easy enough.
What do you want to do? Who do you want to be? Create it. It's your choice. It's your free will. Be rational. Don't accept inadequacy; if you don't like something about yourself, fix it.
Not a difficult concept.

Carpe Diem Ad Muertum
Sieze the day, to the death. There is no potential that shall be passed by, there is no piece of glory to fall by the wayside, there is no soul to left unsaved by the brilliance of language. As writers, we are gods.
I've found in my years here on Earth that a spine is requisite if one is to stand for anything, especially on one's own two feet.
From my philosophy class: "I don't know if you've accurately captured the subjectivity of trolls..."[/size:b70742df3a][/color:b70742df3a]
