ok i play the french horn in band at school and i'm in advanced band. today we were having a chair test to decide who gets first chair second chair and all that crap and the test was on the concert F chromatic scale. luckey for me i suck at chromatic scales stressed ! and last night i didnt pratice at all and we were just told that there was gonna be a test on it the day before stressed stressed ! so the whole time we were warming up in band i'm like freaking out and trying to pratice every chance i get stressed stressed stressed . it made me feel a little better when i figured out that jack zach and jeffery (the other french horns) hadnt praticed either. mrs. einus took the woodwinds into the middleschool band room and all the brass players stayed in the highschool band room with mrs.hudson. mrs.hudson came to the horns last and the first one to go was jack and he messed up pretty badly because he forgot most of the fingerings which i can understand because it's really hard. i was of course the next one to go. i thought i sounded pretty good for not praticing it actully sounded like i praticed a little bit at least. after me jeffery went and he did pretty good to.and last but not least zach went and he messed up but not as bad as jack. mrs.hudson finished deciding which chair to put us in and she called out "Natalie first chair, Jeffery second, Zach third, Jack fourth." i couldnt beleive it surprised ! i got first chair 4laugh i'm so friggin happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! whee whee whee whee whee
