Rose's point of view
Unable to see anything but white, unable to hear anything but the roar like a tornado around her ears, and feeling as if her entire being was being pulled apart, Rose sat, shaking but otherwise unmoving, on the floor.

blue's point of view
Trapped inside a white room with no doors or windows, only a white ceiling and white floor and one seamless cornerless room, blue panicked. Moments before, she had been a nothingness, floating inside a body she did not control, seeing through its eyes and hearing through its ears. A passenger along for the ride, who could only speak to the driver- except when the gwees were around to amplify her. But not now.
Now, for the first time in a very long time, she could see herself. She felt... wrong, still. She had her fairy wings back, her fox tail, and her golden laurels. But... no dark halo or demon spikes. Revelling though, for a moment, in being a whole and complete person, she hugged herself... and felt nothing.
She was not real. She was visible, somehow, at least to herself. But her demon part was missing, and she had a measure of... intangibility... to herself.
'This is not good.' she said aloud, to the small empty room that was all she could see. 'There is still something very, very wrong here.'
She didn't know to whom she was speaking. She was comforted to hear her own voice, and for the moment, that was enough.
But then she noticed that the walls were closing in.

Tuli and Jaa's viewpoints
'Did you hear that?' Jaa asked Tuli.
'Does a red dragon breathe flame?' Tuli retorted. He was often sarcastic when they thought among themselves.
They looked at Taran, however, and hurried. Rose was close by, now. But they didn't know if there was anything they could even do to help her.

Taran's point of view
Taran raced along after the gwees, his thoughts scattered across the four winds. What could be wrong? He saw the gwees look back at him, and he almost tripped over his own feet. What was that look about?
He almost tripped again. They were going so fast that he could not concentrate on much except breathing and following. Then they turned down yet another hall, after just getting off a staircase. The gwees slowed, and Taran almost plowed into them. They entered a doorway, and Taran and ANTIE-D followed them.
Not far inside the door was Nissa, and that was the first thing Taran saw. Then he looked down, and saw Rose- kneeling on the ground right in front of him. He was speechless.

Rose's Point of View
The roaring had deafened her, she could not hear a thing. She could not see anything but white. She realized, then, that she was no longer really connected to the pain. She looked down, and saw her hand. Her hand. And her arm... all hers. Looking herself over, she could see what she was. Demon. Pure demon. The rest of what she had come to recognize as herself was gone. No trace remained of fox, fairy, or angel. It was just demon.
She knew she had to get back in control, but didn't know how. She was in a white room, with no corners or edges. Even where the walls met the floor or ceiling, it seemed to just bend up to meet it. And no more. No openings, just the white.
Refusing to remain like this, she pushed against the walls. She pushed with all her strength, and then she realized. She was losing ground. The walls were edging in. She screamed, but she knew somehow, that she didn't make a sound. Not a single sound.
blue and Rose, respectively, as they see themselves.
