William, what and Geoffrey walked into the marketplace of Londan. William was looking for a gift for Jocelyn, while Wat and Geoffrey were watching the girls. Geoffrey's eyes cought a particular women at the furite stand. A smile came upon Geoffrey's face. William lightly hit Wat and pointed at Geoffrey. Wat fallowed Chaucer's gaze to the women. The women had on a light blue fress, and her blond hair hung over her shoulder. Wat looked at Chaucer then pushed him to snap him out of the trance.
Geoffrey looked at Wat. "What was that?"
Wat looked back at the women. "Go talk to her." Geoffrey shook his head and started to walk away.
William grabbed Chaucer's wrist. "Why not? Is she not your Venus?"
Chaucer sighed and looked back at the women. "She is, William."
"Then at least get your Venus' name." William ley go of Chaucer's wrist.
"I can not. I will not." Chaucer walked away again. William and Wat looked at eachother and fallowed Chaucer.
As they got back to the camp Chaucer walked past Roland and Kate. As william approched with Wat tagging along, Chaucer sat in the tent and started writting.
"What was that about?" Roland looked at William.
"That was Chaucer afraid of asking a girl for her name." William sighed.
Kate seemed intrested. "What did she look like?"
"Blond hair and light blue dress. Why?" Wat seemed puzzled.
Kate smiled. "I have a friend visting me thats all." Kate walked off to fix William's armor. William was now puzzled as well. Chaucer sighed as he looked up from his paper and remembered the women,
As night grew dark William and Roland went off to have dinner with their girls. Chaucer and Wat went to the pub as Kate waited for her friend.
"Sorry I'm late." A voice called out.
Kate smiled. "It's quite alright." She waved her hand for her friend to come and eat with her. As Kate and her friend ate, they talked about after they left eachother and wat had happened since. When they were done they retired to bed. Wat had to drag Chaucer to camp because of how drunk he was. Wat placed Chaucer down near the door of the tent then found a place for himself and laided down. Chaucer yawned in his drunken stage of sleep and wrapped his arms around what he thought was a pillow and fell fast a sleep. As the sun broke threw the tent door Chaucer awoke and looked at what he had his arms around. To Chaucer's Amazment his arms where wrapped around the girl he was admireing. Chaucer looked around seeing no one eles in the tent and sighed.
"While dreaming this sweet dream. I wisht it to be so." Chaucer smiled and went to tought her but didn't. "As a dream so sweet i will not touch thee. So I can always dream if this."
Wat walked in and smiled."Oh good your up."
Chaucer looked at Wat. "What do you mean up?"
Kate stood near Wat. "Her name is Jasmen."
Chaucer's face grew shocked. "This angel on my arm is not a dream?"
Wat and Kate's voice rang. "No."
William smiled. "Now you know your Venus' name and imbraced her last night," Chaucer looked at Jasmen as she started to awake. As Wat and Kate laughed Jasmen looked at Chaucer whose arms were still wrapped around her.
"May I ask good sir, Why you hold me so?" Jasmen's voce seemed kind. Chaucer tried to speak but found he couldn't and quickly left. Jasmen watched confused as William fallowed Chaucer.
"Geoff. Why did you not speak?" William asked when he caughed up.
Chaucer looked at William. "I can not express words to her." Chaucer sighed, "I wish not to make a fool. Thought I proved that already."
Christina walked up with Roland. "If you can not speak then writte it,"
Chaucer glared at Christina. "And if she hate it?"
Chrisitna smiled. " I doubt any girl would hate that."
