Last night's weather forecast: Blizzard Warnings for Nova Scotia. My teachers yesterday: So, I guess I'll probably see you all on Monday. Me this morning: *wakes up* So, I wonder what ...*looks out window, dies* Blizzard: *Is as non existant as possible. Not one flake of snow* Radio: Well, thanks to some freak chance, we got no snow. Yay! *mysteriously gets thrown to the other side of the room*
And that was the lovely start to my day. Expecting the blizzard, I'd done no homework except for a job shadowing report, which ended up being put off until Monday anyways. My muscles (mainly pecs) were killing me (and still are) from a workout the day before, and I didn't eat breakfast. In other words, I was miserable. To make things worse....
Me: Gee, I'm kind of glad it didn't snow. Then I would have had to walk to work in it. Snow: *Falls* Me: stare *Freezes on the walk to work* Work: *sucks* Boyfriend: *Cancels our plans* Me:: Well, I'll call someone else. *Picks up phone* Phone *Was disconnected yesterday* Me: stressed *Logs on to Gaia*
And THEN, I found This. Perhaps the most creative quest I've ever seen, and one which completley cheered me up. (I don't know this guy, and I'm not trying to make anyone who reads this donate. I just thought it was funny). So now I think I'll go to bed early, sleep in tomorrow, and enjoy my first Saturday off in a long time.
Lesson of the day: Life sucks sometimes, but it's only temporary. 3nodding
