Meetings- Part 1 *rose*
Taran inhaled as the craft skimmed down through the atmosphere into Lia Alit Iil-tia. It was as beautiful as he had remembered. He looked down at Rose, coddled in his arms. Sometimes he wished he was not cursed.

Rose moved her head for the first time in a while, and looked at the brilliant hues of the sky they were entering into. Surrounded by three luminescant moons, Lia Alit Iil-tia had an ever changing sky palate. True, the natives were used to the common changes from sky blue, to deep blue, to purple around the moon J'riel, the pink, yellow and soft orange hues that encircled the movements of Tri'limina, and the iridescent pearl-blue, teal, lavender and sometimes red that bounced off the moon Dri'liliai. But to see them in motion, as the swiftly encirrling moons crossed paths in the sky, was an entrancing sight for anyone not accustomed to it.

Jirian smiled back at Taran and Rose.

"It is said that more Dragons have traveled here to witness the skies than anywhere else." he said, like a true tour guide. He turned back to the controls, and pointed down to the ground.

"There is our destination. The Iil-tia consolate at Lia Alit Iil-tia." He waited to make sure they were looking, which Taran finally did, though Rose's eyes seemed once again clouded over. "We go there first to seek permission from the Healers for Rose. Once they accept, the Quick Healers' Guild is next door. No time will be wasted." Jirian caught Taran's eyes, and the anxiety in them. But there was something else. Unable to place it, he could not help remembering seeing no less than five Dragons visiting Lia Alit Iil-tia in his lifetime. Their eyes were just as fierce.

The small craft landed on the bay, and the fairies got out first. Taran carried Rose (despite ANTIE-D's insistence) and the rest of the entourage followed. Leaving the beautiful skies behind them, they walked under the arch into the Iil-tia Consolate Building.

In the entry, the Consolate met them. There were seven of them, dressed in multi-hued gowns and suits. The woman on the far right spoke.

"What do you seek of the Consolate?" she asked, standing regally on the ground, uncaring of the height difference.

Taran looked down at Rose, whose eyes trained on... nothing. He grimaced, and held her out to ANTIE-D.

Kneeling on one knee, head down, Taran spoke for her.

"We have come to seek Healing for Rose."*

The Conolate fairies looked at each other, and the one who spoke previously spoke again, not formally at all this time.

"It is... interesting, that a mage should so well know the tongue of Dragon."

Taran looked up, his face blushing and his eyes slightly alarmed.

"However, since you asked still so formally and so true to your heart, we shall grant this request." the Consolate fairy answered.

A few fairies that had been lining the walls came forward to ANTIE-D and Rose. Taran started to stand.

"No." replied a male fairy, on the opposite end. Taran paused, as did ANTIE-D, who stopped and turned away from where the fairies had been leading.

"You shall not go along with her. There are things we might know from you yet." the fairy continued.

Taran sighed, and waved ANTIE-D on with Rose.

Jirian motioned to the gwees and Niko, and led them out into a garden, as ANTIE-D made haste to keep up with the fairies that would heal her dear Rose.

Taran was left kneeling, facing the Fairy Consolate, though he kept his head bowed. This might be an interesting conversation. One he didn't look forward to having in the least.

* This is what Taran said, translated. What came out of his mouth was in Dragon-tongue. Because ANTIE-D, Niko, the gwees, Jirian, and all the fairies present speak or at least understand Dragon, it was not necessary to render it in that language. Rose is not currently conscious enough to notice what is going on, so her inability to understand Dragon-tongue that does not matter.

Taran is a mystery inside of an enigma wrapped in confusion and more mysteries.

Just like a Gobbstopper of Mystery.

Yum.
