Stones: Each fits into a divit in the Isle crown, and controlls an isle and a power, however as each is placed a terrible monster is unleashed to protect the remaining stones.
Crown: Ok, ok not a stone but it's a start. Holds all the stones, so it's power is to create a reliable base for the other powers like a backdrop. it symblifies Unity and with out it the independant Isles run amok.
First monster: giant Snail (like from Dr.Doolittle)
Ruby: The Red stone, known for power over the minds of others. A strong independant stone that can turn on a whim. Becareful power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutley.
Monster: Man-Eating Dolphin... angry little bugger
Emrald: The Greenstone, stone of the Land. With this stone power over plants and green life is obtainable. Careful with this one, any wrong use and just remember that your ship was once greenlife.
Monster: Tiger..... of the SEA!!! so more or less a tiger that can swim cool.
saphire: Blue stone... Stone of weather, and ice. mostly ice. Iceburgs, hail, sleet... more of a weaponry stone. But what can be done to others near you can also run into your ship as well.
Monster: Giant Angry Albatross
Diamond: Clear stone. Clears the mind and the sea. Devoid of thought, riff, winds, and tides. Dangerous without the help of magic to pull you out of the still sea that you've created.
Monster: Whale.... an angry whale... like Moby d**k
amethyst: i think this one's purple. anyways. This stone helps clairvoyence, the ability to see into the future as well as see the stars during the day, handy isn't it?
Monster: Spooky giant lobster crab thing
Pearl: A most dangerous stone. Stories tell of this stone once being the eye of a sailor who loved the sea morethan anything and gouged his eye out in a binding contract with the sea. Thought to have controll over lost men, and women at sea.
Monster: The Eyeless Sailor.
Opal: The Magic stone. Amplifies magic use ten fold, but uses mana quicker aswell. A nifty little stone but deadly too.
