I just finished reading "Running With Scissors". That was a weird book that makes me happy that no one in my close-family is mentally unstable and psychotic. It was a beautifully written piece, a memoir by Augusten Burroughs. It talks about a boy who's mother is mentally unstable and sends him to live with her psychiatrist who I think is also mentally unsuitable for his job. He has these reasonings and veiws of life that most everyone would deam as crazy. And his family is also like... and they live with such strange circumstances that they are all crazy and all do crazy things but think that they're normal because it was how they were raised which brings up the question.'what is normal?', one of those questions that everyone has an answer to but no one knows the truth because there's no such thing as 'normal' and that which we think is normal changes frequently. But I digress, Running With Scissors was an....enjoyable read, and if nothing else, it was...entertaining and saddening
