Today, we didn't have any classes in school. We watched Senior Presentations all day. mad it was SO boring. We were given evualution sheets to fill out. I turned both of mine into origami. biggrin
Ch 2 P 3
"Luke?" Kira said softly as they ate their deer meat.
"Yes?"
"Could you tell me more about yourself?" she asked.
He laughed,"Sure, but then I want to hear more about you."
Luke told Kira about his life in a small, remote village. His perants weren't human, but that didn't matter. Helping hands were always welcome, especially around harvest. But the countries military didn't see things the same way. His mother, then his father was kiled. Luke, only twelve, barely escaped with his life and his dog. then, he smply wandered from village to village, killing monsters for gold.
Then it was Kira's turn. She thrilled Luke with stories of the Isle of Fire, the home of the western Dragon Clan. the flying lessons and hunting classes. then, how her fathers was killed by a couple of dragons slayers. Her and her mother went to see his body, his brilliant scales dulled by death and dried blood. But the slayers returned, killing her mother on the belief she was another dragon. Kira flew away before the hunters could get her, flying east unti she collasped over the forest.
The pair looked at each other. "Ya know?" said Luke, "we're more alike than we thought."
