The first day of the tournament finally came! Looking back on it, I reckon it was worth the wait...just. Alyssa is convinced it wasnt, and I have to admit some of our opponets were pretty pathetic, but it was only the first round. I fought some sort of ram demon guy. I have to say, he had a pretty mean headbutt, what with those horns and all, but his earthquakes were definitely below par. And what did he expect to gain by stepping on my foot? stressed To cut a long story short, I kicked his stupid hooves out from under him more than once, and then hit him with the hilt of my dagger between the eyes and he was out. But to make it quicker, I then threw him out of the arena.
Alyssa went up against some sort of dirty trickster, who definitely got what was coming to him. He used an ordinary katana, but he had hidden throwing knives which I'm sure arent allowed. They were easy for Alyssa to dodge though, and she only got hit once, a shallow cut. Then the guy went down, with a swift series of fencing moves he couldnt block. So she just has a scratch to the head, and my stomach is black and blue. xp Kirikozou is fighting tomorrow, and Tomara the day after. This tournament should be a nice change from travelling.
