Whew. Disater averted. The power went out at my house at about 1 this morning and was still out when I left for school. This ment that I couldn't log onto Gaia before i left like I usually do. sad cry gonk But it was back on when I got home. smile biggrin xd wohoo. Otherwise, first day back at school after spring break. It was like spring break had never happened. Bye.
CH 5 P 2
Rummaging around in their packs, they pulled out extra clothing. Kira tucked in her wings tightly, then tied her kimono on. Luke let his hair down t cover his ears, then pulled on his boots and they were ready to go. As they walked into the small village, they saw that the villagers were placing gaurds over their doors.
Luke walked over to one of the villagers. “What’re you doing?”
“I’m gaurding my house with this sutra,” the villager answered, “It’s to keep out vampires.”
Kira and Luke decided that maybe it wasn’t such a good idea to hang around the village.
“So that old centaur was right,” Kira mused as they walked back into the forest, “I wonder what’s got the vampires so riled.”
As they walked, the forest grew silent. The sound of the birds chirping and wind rustling through the trees had completely stopped, leaving behind only an eerie quiet.
“This is creepy,” Luke whispered, “I have never heard the forest this silent.”
Then they heard the bushes rustling in front of them, the sound unnaturally loud in the silent forest.
