Huh. It's a Sunday. Not much happens on Sunday, and its the precursor to Monday. But the new monthly items are cool. MAybe I'll get the Aquatica.
And, as promised, I have the first part of chapter one of Dragon Daze. It's a little slow in the beginning, but it should get exciting real fast.
I sighed and stared idly out the car window, chin resting in my palm. The scenery going by had gradually melted from city, to suburbs, to the farmer’s fields we were now passing.
“So, Ryan, right?” The nervous voice came from the seat next to me, where a teen, maybe 16 or 17, sat. “Where are you from?”
“Seattle,” I said succinctly, hoping he’d leave it at that. No such luck.
“Wow, that’s a big city,” he said, awe in his voice
Thank you Captain Obvious, “Whatever,”
“So why’re you coming out here now? You went to middle school in Seattle, right?”
Why did my middle school matter? “I’m out here because my parents died. Again.” I grumbled, rolling down the window to try and drown out his voice.
“Wait, what? What do you mean again?” the car suddenly swerved and straightened back out, my driver giving a short yell, evidently surprised by the large Semi passing us the other way.
I groaned, hoping that there wasn’t too much farther to go.

Dragon Daze
(used to be Vice-Versa) Ryan thinks he's a normal kid, but then his adoptive parents die and he's shipped off to live with a grandfather he's never met. And then there's his new high school, where no one is quite human. (Check archive for first chap)
