The Final Showdown – Winner Takes All
Dark Ninja vs. Dark Moon

Sarar Uchiha heard a knock on the door. She looked up from the magazine that she was reading to see her little sister, Jade, standing in the doorway.
“What’s wrong Jade?” Sarar asked.
“I’m scared.” Jade said as she jumped at the sound of thunder.
“Come here and sit with me.” Sarar smiled as Jade did as she was told and was soon asleep.

Dark Moon gritted her teeth at the memory. Seven years. It had been seven years since then, now she was older, wiser and ready to face the challenges that lay ahead. She was now twelve, but inside, she felt like she was still five years old. How she hated the memory that continued to come back to haunt her. Her name wasn’t Jade anymore. Her name was…Dark Moon. Dark Moon smiled at the name. Now, after all of these years, it was time for her to face her sister, Sarar. She was ready.
“I’ll kill you Sarar. I swear it.” She whispered and her voice faded away into the darkness.

She sat atop an old, dilapidated building, waiting and watching. Her black hair waved in the small breeze. She didn’t notice. She had trained for this for seven years. She was now eighteen and an elite Jounnin. She smiled at the name that so many feared. The name that had started it all….Dark Ninja. She smiled. This was going to be fun.
I’ll kill you Jade. I swear it. She thought to herself. She knew that she had done the unspeakable. She had killed her entire clan. She had killed everyone except Jade. She didn’t know why she had spared Jade, but she had. And now it was time for the kill to be made. She saw Jade walk to their parents’ graves. She smiled as she disappeared to reappear in front of their parents’ graves, the perfect setting for their battle. This was a battle that was going to be remembered for a long time.

It was a dark night as Dark Moon walked across the street to the graveyard that was home to her parents’ deceased bodies. As she approached her parents’ graves, Dark Moon gasped as saw a figure. But it wasn’t any figure. It was Sarar, the one person that she had sworn to kill.

“So, we meet at last, Jade Uchiha. Or should I call you baby sister.” Dark Ninja greeted.
“The name’s not Jade anymore. It’s Dark Moon.” Dark Moon retorted as she took out her shuriken and prepared to attack. Dark Ninja grinned.
“And you should know that it’s not Sarar anymore.” She said.
Dark Moon’s eyes widened in surprise. “What?”
Dark Ninja smiled. “It’s Dark Ninja.”

Dark Moon felt as if the wind had been knocked out of her. Dark Ninja?! She knew that her sister was powerful but she didn’t expect her sister to be Dark Ninja, the most feared and powerful ninja ever!
“Surprised?” Dark Ninja asked.
Dark Moon gritted her teeth as she attacked.

Dark Moon reached down, pulled her shuriken out of her pocket and threw them at Dark Ninja. Dark Ninja dodged the attack, but strangely, didn’t move.
What? Dark Moon thought in surprise. How can I miss, I never miss!
“What? You expected me to just stand there and let myself get hit?” Dark Ninja asked at the surprised look on Dark Moon’s face. Dark Moon glared at Dark Ninja.
“Try this!” She yelled as she threw another round of shuriken. Dark Ninja glared at Dark Moon as she dodged them the same way she had before.
“Don’t be a fool. Frontal assaults are wasted here.”
“We’ll see about that.” Dark Moon retorted as she threw another round of shuriken, but missed.
“Your battle is already lost. I’ll show you in three moves why they call me Dark Ninja.” Dark Ninja said as she took an object off of her back. It was in the shape of a rectangle.
What’s that? Dark Moon thought. Dark Ninja grinned.
“Throw another round of shuriken. I dare you.” Her voice taunted Dark Moon.
In answer, Dark Moon threw another round of shuriken. Just as they were about to hit Dark Ninja, they stopped in mid air and fell to the ground. Dark Moon’s eyes widened in surprise.
“Move number one.” Dark Ninja said as she opened the object in the shape of a rectangle a little bit, enough to see a small part of the object. Dark Moon didn’t get it, so she threw another round of shuriken. The same thing happened as before.
“Move number two.” Dark Ninja said as she opened the object a little more, to where it was behind her.
“I don’t get it.” Dark Moon said.
“Just throw one more round of shuriken and you’ll see.” Dark Ninja answered. Dark Moon obeyed as obediently as she had all of those years ago when she had curled up in Sarar’s lap and fallen asleep. The shuriken of course, didn’t hit Dark Ninja.
“Move number three.” Dark Ninja said as she opened the object to reveal a fan. She spun the fan around once, then disappeared with the fan.
Wha-Where’d she go? Dark Moon thought as she looked around the graveyard.
“Over here.” Dark Ninja’s voice rang out in the still night. Dark Moon turned to look behind her and saw Dark Ninja riding her fan, which was in the air. The fan circled around Dark Moon to where it was facing her, then stopped. Dark Ninja jumped off of the fan, grabbed it, and said,
“Sorry Dark Moon.” Her voice dripped with sarcasm. “You know why you can’t kill me? Because you lack hatred.” Dark Ninja grinned as she took her fan, waved it and sent a powerful blast towards Dark Moon that sent her flying off of the ground. Dark Ninja then closed her fan, making the wind stop as Dark Moon fell and landed on top of Dark Ninja’s closed fan. Dark Moon remembered Dark Ninja saying, “The only way that you can kill me is to hate me, despise me and survive in some unsightly way.” Those words were the last thing that Dark Moon knew she would remember, forever. Dark Ninja grinned, knowing that her sister was dead. She even made sure by throwing Dark Moon’s body on to the ground, opened her fan and slashed Dark Moon’s body in half with the razor sharp edges of her fan. Dark Ninja grinned. Her revenge was now complete.
