"What aboot that, eh?"
Yesterday, I woke up at about 10 because it was too loud and too hot. I was forced to watch 3 movies with Wendy while waiting for "Prom Time" to come closer. We watched Defending Your Life, some gay movie that sucked, and another people after that. It was pretty good. Pitty I can't remember the name. xD I hate it when she makes me watch movies though.. I like to be productive instead of vegetating. On one hand, she was going to give me money and help me get ready, so I couldn't really say no, so.. I had to sacrifice some time and brain cells. It's nice to spend time with her, but I'd be happier if we just watched cartoons together. While we were watching she did my fingernails black and pink. I painted my toenails black. During the day Niota and I called each other trying to figure things out. Bianca was doing her own thing with her date/boyfriend Ryne, Liz and Amy were going to meet us at the casino and Niota went upriver to find Des.
Anyway, I had some icecream, and then I started to get dressed. Then my hair was done, and then my make-up. I kinda looked 90210 but it was still pretty good. I didn't feel so retarded anymore. At about 6:30 Niota and Desirea showed up. Niota brought me the heart/key earrings I gave her. They were perfect! Niota had a black suit and a pink shirt. She also had pink earrings and necklace. Desirea was wearing a simple, but elegant blue dress and white boa. Her make-up was even blue! We left at about 6:50~ish and got to the parking lot. We had to walk a long ways, and I started hating the long slit on the side that exposed my leg. lol. It was windy, that's why. We got inside, and there was a wedding party going on next door. Mrs. Leivas and other falculty from school happened to be there too. Gloria even showed up and took pictures, but she was there for the wedding party. [it was huge] Amy and Liz were late because Amy was taking so long. It was cute! We made fun of them for it for a while. We went in, and we ordered. Amy got a chef salad, Niota got prime rib [not measy! lol], Liz got chicken fried steak, I got chicken alfredo, and Des got soup/the rest of my dinner. Woot. >_> We finished eating at about 8:15-30. We left, and then we went to Niota's hosue so Netoma could see us but she wasn't there. We went to DOminos and she just left. Her dad had taken pictures, so we figured that'd be okay. We then went to Bianca's house, and Bianca was hiding behind the door when we came in. We raced there. Amy cheated. >_> Bianca had a light blue dress with a cute bow in the back. Her hair was curly but pined up nicely. Ryne was in a tux. [le surprise] Oh yeah. Liz had a black/grey dress - her hair was straight too. Amy had a black/red skirt/blouse and a black mini-jacket. Amy was Desirea's date, I was Niota's. [btw] After that we went to Lix's house where we met her family and took cute pictures. x3
Around 9:08, we raced to Prom. Not a lot of people were there yet, obviousely. There were stones outside with couples and individuals' names on them. Well, they gave the illusion of being part of a 'stone path' but that's about it. We stole ours. Soon after everyone else got there, and we went in. There really wasn't a "Wow" factor. The "red carpet" looked like a stone walkway, there were blue/black streamers along the wall. THere was a dj there, a white fountain with green water and fog. There was an archway from the entrance that led up to it. On the tables there were candies/rossies. In the centerpeice were these little bridge/arches that had a little disco light in the middle. I wonder who jacked them? Amy was sad because no one was dnacing for the longest time. Desirea's friends were also there. She was between us and them the whole time. Eventually they put on dancing music, and we started dancing. I actually 'danced' opposed to moving side-to-side or standing akwardly in the circle. It's not that hard. You just move. That's all dancing is. lol. Did I mention the gay treees with black/green balloons? There were also balloons and green confetti on the groun that stuck to your feet if you were barefoot. It was better to be barefoot because then your shoes didn't kill you. n_n There was also a lot of water bottles there, which was good because I was very thirty. I drank 2 1/2. Des had at least 4. Unfortunately, Des went home early with her friends are 10:30 because she wasn't feeling good. -tear tear- We decided to go see her after prom to see how she was doing. We did eat some cake. The chocolate was too dry. The white wasn't as dry, but he was burned. Ew. I danced almost the entire time. It was fun. n_n We also watched Ryne and Bianca take their picture. It was so adorable! -Like they were getting married. <3 I wonder if they kissed? That'd be so romantic!!
Anyway, Lynnis Gonzalas/Mick Maya were Prom King/Queen. [big surprise >_>] Niota started feeling dizy/sleepy. Apparently she actually fell asleep! [Which seems suprising seeing how close to the stage she was] Instead of going to the movies like we originally planned, at 1 after Prom we were one of the last people there. I stole some flowers and a picture frame thingie. Niota lost our stone thingie, but I had found it. n_n Anyway, we drove up there and everyone was drunk outisde or stoned inside. I had one drink of coke/vodka but that was it. Hime-san seemed out of place and kind of upset. Seeing Des like she was [drunk and high as a kite], she couldn't take it. So, we took Desirea in what little she was wearing [a slip and a jacket we found in her house] and took her home. As soon as we got in the house, Desirea crashed on the couch. I got blankets for everybody. Amy had gone to the movies with Liz to see Disturbia, so she didn't get home until 3-4 in the morning. Me and Niota enjoyed the quiet time in the darkness. xD My head hurt a lot from lack of sleep, and I was buzzed, so it hurt to get up and walk around.
In the morning, I woke up around 8-8:30 shortly after Niota. Des and Amy woke up some time after. The kids were slowly waking. She got Burtos for everyone. How nice! n_n We then loafed around the house, sleeping pretty much. Around 11-12 we got lunch. It took an hour to get everything because we went to Amy's house so she could change, but she was completely locked out. We then sat around the house. Everyone was falling asleep and waking up on/off. After hime-san left, I finally took a short, unforgiving nap. I woke up feeling sick. It sucked. Amy kept waking me up because she needed me to take her home, but I didn't know that. So, I took her and Desirea home. And then I came home and sat in front of the computer...
But, looking at my life on the drive home from Desirea's, I realized that I may not have a perfect life, but I do have a lot of privilages and leeways. I don't live in a bad environment and I have a lot of luxuries. I don't have everything I want - I am envious of some things, and I am still jobless. However, I'm not the worst off. -nods- And most of all, I found the person I want to spend my life with early in my life. What more can you ask for?
