Sandra, aka SanSan by her friends, lives with her step mother and two step brothers. Her dad was killed in an accident with his brother at the prarie farm where they both worked for some extra money. Sandra's mother of course has been long gone. Ever since her parents devorce her mother wanted nothing to do with her. They got devorced when Sandra was six. Now its ten years later, since both horrible things have happened. As an unruly sixteen year old prepared to scream til she goes mute Sandra finds a husky, or at least her gaurd duck dose. In the forest behind her farm Sandra and Monk, a two year old duck, find a husky puppy. Sandra keeps the dog in secret and names the little pup Sugar Bowl. But theres something strange about Sugar Bowl and SanSan has yet to figure it out.....
