Yep, thats what she said,
I volunteer by answering phones for an animal welfare group, and some of the conversations are down right hilarious, so i'll write them here so they can be forever locked into the internet, and yes, no names will be mentioned (like i remember them anyway)

Back to the title message, there was a huge number of calls around noon, and there was no way to catch them all, and one lady just felt the need to comment on it troll style, no name. no number....i hope that's not why she called in the first place.

One phone call was pretty strange, I only heard about it second hand..the person finished the whole "im soandso how can i help you today?" etc..there was silence on the line, soandso askes "hello? is anyone there?" this was followed by a abrupt "NO!!" followed by a *click* then there be the disconnected tone of a hang up.

Another interesting guy called and i misheard him i thought he wanted to "neuter his daughter" but no, he wanted to "neuter his dog" (which turned out to be female, can't remove the balls of something that doesn't have them) after that awkward clarification, when I asked for his last name..there was a long silence followed by "hmm..lets go with...*insert generic last name here*." pick an identity, any identity!

I just wanted to go home after that..but the fun wasn't over yet,

there was a chick that kept having to tell her boyfriend to "stop touching that! I'm on the phone!..oh I'm so sorry about that..."

the guy that kept calling me "babe" every other sentence. Not -particularly funny, but what I was miming with a pair of kiddie scissors might have been, they can't cut paper, hair or cardboard..but I WOULD have made them cut flesh if he had kept that up.

The guy that couldn't remember his number and hung up on me while he was trying to find it on his phone...then called back and said "hi! i'm...you know..the guy that just hung up on you..but I still can't find the right number..does it have to be mine?" ...Im not sure whose number it was that he gave me, but they must be getting a lot of calls from ex-girlfriends or something....
I'm sure there will be more next week.
