Angelchild, 17, is the self-proclaimed leader for his generation's Circle.
Angel's father, half brother to Eon(child), was one of the Children of the Valley for his generation, a member of the Circle. In his young days he spent much time with a girl from the Valley who be came a Seer. The two loved each other, and decided to marry.
For that generation, the Circle wasnt as busy as it had been in the previous, but they still faced many challenges. After a long calm, Angel's father decided to marry the Seer. And so he did.
Soon after their marriage, the Seer became pregnant. 9 months later, she gave birth to their first son, who they named Antel. The Seer could see the power in Antel. As Antel grew, so did his powers. At the age of 13, Antel obtained wings, the sign of a true Child of the Valley, the symbol of one who should be in the Circle. By the ange of 14, Antel was a member of the Circle, the first Circle member for his generation, and therefore the one who would be the leader. Being years older than the other Children who would be in his Circle, he was the only one capable of fighting for the Valley. Therefore, his missions were based on the previous Circle.
Antel mastered his abilities, became a more than capable fighter, and used his dark brown bird-like wings in any way possible. His parents couldnt be any more proud. Antel was always given everything he wanted, spoiled in a sense, though he never became rotten. The one thing he always trully wanted, however, was a brother. Soon after being officially assigned to the Circle, his parents gave him the news, his mother would give birth in approximately 4 months.
4 months went by, and the happiest day of Antel's life was the day his brother was born. This made him think; he was 14 years older than his brother, and the only member of his generation in the Circle. Was he too young for the previous Circle, and too old for the new one? He didnt pay much attention to it, noone really cared.
Years passed, and though separated in age by 14 years, Antel and Angel were best of friends. Antel, wanting his brother's name to be as similar to his as possible, chose the name Angel for him. Eon, Antel's uncle who would become the Circle Elder once Antel's generation took over, more than agreed with the name. Perhaps there is something more behind this?
By the age of 6, Angel recognized his brother, who was now 20, as his hero. He admired Antel much more than he did his father. Angel was born with great power as well. His mother and the other Seers and people of the Valley could see it. Neither of the brothers could wait until Angel became the next member of the Circle.
One day, as calamity struck, all the Circle members of the generation prior to Antel's were sent off on a perilous journey. Anterl was asked to stay behind, in case another need rose. And another need did rise. Antel gathered some of the Valley warriors and headed off on their mission. There was a great battle, and the warriors of the Valley were victorius. However, amidst the fight, Antel dissapeared.
Everyone waited and waited, and he never retured. The Seers tried tracking him with their magics, but failed. A year passed and nothing changed, so they concluded that Antel had died. For 7 year old Angel and his parents, this was very difficult. Angel's powers, which had been rapidly growing like his brother's, came to a halt during his depression.
Eventually, Angel decided that it was time to stop mourning his brother; it's not what he would want. Besides, he wanted to be a powerful Child of the Valley just like Antel, and his parents wanted this as well. Angel became an amazing fighter, and had great control over his powers. However, something was amiss. The possible secong Child of the generation had the power, but was missing his symbol. By the age of 15, Angel had still not acquired his wings. This was a big dissappointment for many, specially his parents. Angel had to prove himself to the Valley, though, and did all he could to earn the "child" suffix.
He protected the Valley from threats, forced himself on missions with the previous generation Circle, proved the greatness of his power, and that he was worthy of the Circle. After a full night of discussion, and by one vote, the Circle decided to accept Angel. Though half of the Circle was against, and most of the Valley was against it, Angel did his best to serve them as a member of the Circle.
He still does his best, like his brother would. He still tries to prove to the Circle, the Valley, and everyone, that he's worthy of the name Angelchild. Though older by 4 months, Angelchild was not assigned leader for his Generation; his cousin Wyvernchild was. However, knowing how badly Angelchild wants to prove himself, she passed leadership onto him. Angelchild tries his best to not let anyone down, still hoping that he will some day get his wings.
