The calm of my ocean was like a silver, liquid mirror, reflecting nothing but seemingly eternal happiness and such sweet, sweet sorrow, that was to never be forgotten.
Beneath, the waves sighed as they slept, stroking the dancing darkness as the light of my moon - my soul - waltzed in harmony beside the glimmering stars.
All was quiet and still.
Even the most troublesome of storms didn't dare encroach on the slumber; to interrupt the soft and distant lullaby of the night air.
Serenity's soft kiss touched all, yet lingered quietly to insure no awakening by it's sake.
It was peace, and it was home.
Then, out of the velvet black of the sky, an angel, the brightest of stars, fell down into the mirror.
Life stirred and broke forth; stretching from its sleep, waking silently to the sweet lullaby around it; breaking from serenity's gentle lips.
My soul quivered, and my ocean sighed deeply as it stirred.
A ripple wove through me in delicate shudders as the light peirced the waters and illuminated the waves beneath.
Ripples moved through me in breathy gasps, slow, calm, and gentle as the new peace is restored.
The angel now perfects my ocean, my liquid silver looking glass; filling me with soft, sweet sorrow, and glowing unravelled love as I drift back into dreaming slumber.
