Whether concious or sub-concious, we still have them. Some are from the heart, its very desires, its hopes. Or it can be a wishful thinking or ones we have at night. While there are theories as to why we have dreams concerning the sub-concious mind and rapid-eye movemt, I truly believe that all dreams are a result of our souls, our hearts crying out. Yes, our hearts. Not the physical entity that beats within our ribcage, but rather the one that feels pain, feels hope, feels anger, feels joy. Everyone has one but most decide to merely ignore it, dismissing it as silly childish dreams. But then... are children not perfect? They are ever forgiving, ever hopeful, always joyous, and not one to cry over silly things. They are so honest, and unjudging...little wonder we are so drawn to them. Inside, our hearts are children, hopeful, forgiving and joyous. Then why do we always suppress it? We are always so cold, unforgiving, angry. So then why? This world tells us how we should act, tells us what is okay and what isn't. They tell us that cold, unforgiving, and angry attitudes are acceptable, even cool. No. It is not cool. It is not cool to suppress your heart. It is like stamping out all the joy and hope from a child. Now tell me, is that right? Is it right to destroy them, their dreams, their optimism? Isn't this why we keep saying, "let them have their fun...after all, they are still young."? How many of us still want to dream? If dreams are part of our nature, our being, why do we try to strangle it? Our dreams, pure and true are what guides us. They are what drive us. Always, people around us tell us no, tell us it isn't worth it. They tell us to just give up and live like they do. The only problem is, we don't want to live like them, day in, day out...Always trying to just get through life alive.
We have always had hopes, dreams that we have thirsted for. So then for once, can we not just trust our hearts?

No matter how you may interpret the word 'perverted,' I'm am blogging about both. It is sick and twisted, dirty and mindless. Our generations is obsessed with the opposite sex. If a girl has a guyfriend, she's suddenly going out with him. I ask, "why?" Why is it not possible to speak of a friend of the opposite sex without being hounded by other people's ridiculous theories and silly ideas? What is wrong with having a friend of the opposite sex? In fact, sometimes I believe that guys make better friends for the sole fact that they would never become catty and obsessively jealous.
Girls can be really nasty when they're upset. They'll wage war on those whom they consider an enemy. Their war is emotional, mental and lasting. They employ the use of small, planned assaults that attack one's reputation and friends. Never have I once learned of a guy waging emotional war on someone else they were upset with. Emotional and mental scars are deep and can never be fully healed and serve as a painful reminder of the past. A bruise however, heals in little over a few weeks if properly treated. If I mention a male friend, people raise their eyebrows and begin to formulate theories. As far as I am concerned, guys are merely a sub-species of human. They are fun to interact with but should never be taken seriously (relationship wise) until they have evolved fully. It is as simple as that. I find that wasting one's time, energy and money into something that will never last is useless. Face it, relationships can only end in TWO ways. There is no third option, only two. They are breakup or marriage. I highly doubt any of us are ready to get married at the age where we've only begun high school. Therefor, breakup is the only way these silly relationships can end. If this world can not accept that fact that there ARE some people out there who do not obsess over the opposite sex, then that is too bad for them because we DO exist. The next time I hear, "Who's this ____?" I WILL slap them. I've already slapped my cousin for implying something so silly. She should have known better than to say that. She is 24 and engaged. I didn't really slap her in the way you are probably thinking. More like a tap to the cheek as an abbreviated form of slapping. If you are one of those people whining at how stupid, rigid and strict I seem, consider this, what makes it worth it? Several short months of intense, infatuations or an education that will make or break you? Stupid. Silly. People. >:[
moodycomputer: Why thank you! It's harsh now a days but I'm not ashamed to speak of a friend of the opposite sex. It just bothers me that people assume so much simply based on the mention of a name. I have a friend whom I'm known for 10 years and it's tough because everyone says all of these silly things. I don't however think it's hard to be a friend of the opposite sex without being in a relationship. But this is what we have to deal with I suppose.

The dead silence sucks in all light, all life It is a black hole, a chasm that I sit in... The silence deafens me
Chaos all around me Echoes of pain and an aching to be found...to be saved... Death and destruction
Drowing in a world of silence and ignorance Where all is just a game of pretend No faces...just masks
I am right here! Can you not see me? Hear me? Where are you...?
The world can not hear me The world can not see me The world does not care for me
That faint light! Where is it coming from?? I must know!
Come back to me For I reach out to you...

The setting sun bleeds fading red rays as the evening chill sets in
Blood washing over the lush greens of the leaves, tinting them a blazing orange
A bitter wind stirs my hair as I pull the plush folds of my sweater around me
Water shimmers with the iridescence of the luminous crimson and violet sky
The tranquil smell of pine invades my every breath and clears my mind
I smile
It is a lovely ending to a lovely day

today-january 21- is National Hugging Day!! [for those who don't know what i'm talkin about, i live in Canada]. it is a good day cuz you give all your friends hugs and they give one to you too for no reason at all. every country should have a National Hugging Day. a hug breaks all language barriers, a hug is a sign of affection, to show someone you care.
