You know, to start off with, I'm NOT trying to be mean, I'm just trying to clarify things for those of you who don't really get the way art works. It's really frustrating when I draw a picture of something and people tell me I traced it. There's a difference between TRACING and COPYING. TRACING is when you have TRACING PAPER and you put it over a picture (of your choice) and TRACE it. The thing with that is that it looks messy and out of place. It's totally believable that one has traced it.
COPYING is where you have your object of choice in front of you and you COPY what you see. Artists sometimes do this when they paint or draw or sketch landscapes or animals. COPYING has NO TRACING PAPER involved. If you looked at my drawings of Nartuo, you'd notice that it looks almost exactly like the picture. Here's the thing: key word: ALMOST. If you trace, depending on how steady you are, your picture would look EXACTLY like the original. Copying results in sketchy, and off sketches. If you ever found the original picture of the Naruto pic I posted (which is in one of the Mangas) please study it carefully. You'll notice a LOT of things are off. If you have a good eye for detail, you'd notice it.
xp It's little things like that that make me not want to post anything up, because it's pointless when people tell you you've traced when you didn't. And when you DO try to say something, they get mad or take it the wrong way, you know what I mean? I just hate having to explain myself when I know I don't have the proof to show these people and back myself up. Oh well.
Ok, Peace out~~~~
