Imagine This....
a blurry and dark figure that you cant make out walking towards you down the
tunnel, you try to make out who the figure belongs to, you blink and the figure
disappears and you seem to think you imagined everything. you turn around and
the figures there. It wears a faceless mask and eyes brighter than any light you've
ever seen. It glows with a faint blood red aura. you back away slowly and he
mimics your steps. you back into the wall at the end of the passage. and he stops
the second you do. your only a few feet away from one another, a door on your left,
and another on your right. you stare at the left one for a long time, while checking
the figure who still hasn't moved since you've both stopped. you look back at the
left passage way, there's dim spot lights every ten feet, making the passage easy
to see. you then shift your head to the right passage, there's a light every fifty feet,
you wonder where either passage leads. the right passages' ground is flooded, and
the left has a musty smell to it. you wonder which you should go, but at this point
you would even take hell as a choice, anywhere but the sights of this mysterious
shadow that's staring at you a heavenly place. you look back at the figure, your
drawn to stare into its eyes. you see death, you see sorrow, you see millions of
people dying of an unknown reason. you bolt down the right passage uncertain of
your choice. the passage seems to go on forever. the steam from the moisture
under your feet rise and gets thicker and thicker. you stop some four miles down
the passage, your breathing heavily, short raspy breathes fill your lungs. you look
back momentarily to check the figures position. the steam has turned to fog and
you can barely even see the light above you. you move slowly and cautiously to
find the end of the passage. you feel as if someones watching you, as if there's
someone breathing down your neck at this very moment. you look back quickly
and throw your arms around to feel whatevers brought this feeling of an
uncomfortable disposition. you cut your arms against the jagged concrete wall as
you throw your arms around, the cuts deep, your bleeding immediately. you take
off your shirt out of pure instinct and wrap it around your arm and you tie a tight
knot to hold it steady. you continue down the passage, going insane from the
dense fog. you feel as if your wandering down an endless passage.suddenly you
slip off a cliff, you grab ahold of the edge of which you have just fallen, your injured
arm at your side, your holding tightly to the ledge, and staring at the endless
distance between you and whatever awaits your body below you. you swing your
injured arm up to the ledge and as you look up to see where your grabbing you see
the figure. its death bringing eyes staring down at you. your grip falls weak, your
slipping, your frustratingly trying to pull yourself up. you wish for nothing more than
to live, for the figure to go away, you stare into the figures blank eyes, you see
your life flash within them. you begin crying as your losing grip of the ledge. you
lose complete control of your body, you fall like a weightless rag doll. as you fall
your starting at the figure whose on the cliff watching you fall, it turns and walks
back down the passage from whence the both of you came. your body then slams
into a great body of water, your back breaks, you feel yourself slowly drowning as
the current pulls you under, you let yourself go, and with the last breathe you have
you tell yourself to regret not a second of your life.
