Hm. The crosses on top with the ropes make me think that people are tied there, and either lowered slowly onto the spikes or dropped quickly, depending on their crime. A hellish torture chanmber. That's what it reminds me of heart heart

The spikes at the bottom remind me of teeth, which makes the whole thing remind me of a giant gaping mouth :'D But then again, the bit on the side could be tree branches, and that could just be a tree in the park :'D

It looks like the way to escape from Hell. There's the hole, and a ladder going up it, and along the bottom are the spikes....just for the purpose of it being Hell. eek

My first thought: "That's Disturbing."
Then it went to it seeming like a horrific iterpretation of the female genetalia. Done in a fasion as to be more symbolic, of course. Not sure about the ladder, though. Escape, maybe, because this equally seems as if it could either be on the inside or the outside.
Then, cause I have a sick sense of humor, a zoom in on the infamous Goatse image. If you are unfamiliar wuth Goatse Man, then count yourself amoung the lucky few. The original goatse site no longer exists, it seems, due to it's nightmarishly disgusting image.
