I lay my head down and close my eyes
Only to slip into the realms you rule
Goblins and trolls dance around
Jeering at me, coming closer
With scarlet from their last meal
Frosting their mouths
I let out a scream and try to run
Only to fall to the ground
And be caught by their clawed paws
“Wake me up!” I scream to myself
As I thrash around while in their grasp
They lift me up, half off the ground
And drag me off
Back to their camp
The air is fogged with an eerie silence
Being only broke by my terrified screams
And their dark chuckles and grunts
As we draw closer to their camp
As the hourglass breaks
I sit upright in a cold sweat
Along with the dull light of the morning
Only to know that I will enter your world as the dusk falls again
