Hey, my name is Eri(or Sascha) for those of you who don't know me. i have recently been working on a manga about my character: Eda no Shiba. Shiba is a 17 year old mellow and non-expressional girl who was born in a very well-hidden and rarely known village called: Eda no Sato (btw, eda means tree-branch in japansese). shiba was one of the top ninjas in this small village, yet no one liked her. other kids(this is when she is 6 or 7) grew jealous of her, and began to tease her and ignore her. trying to ignore this, Shiba continued to train by herself....she rather enjoyed being by herself anyways. but no matter how shiba's personality was like, she grew lonely. then one day, she dicovered her own hidden spot to play her flute. as days passed, Shiba went to her spot everyday and played her flute. ::::::::::going back to the part when shiba was teased alot...........the majority of the children and some adults disliked Shiba....but only one person didn't. his name was Shiroda Tsuchi. (he's around 10 or 11). Tsuchi never really felt jealous of Shiba, but he envied her. he wished he could stop the teasing, but people would start to ignore him as well.....so, he couldn't do anything. one day, when Tsuchi went for a walk and a little exploring, he heard a beautiful flute playing. curious, he went to see who was playing and he saw Shiba. Ever since that day, he grew more and more envious, but never jealous. ::::::::::::Shiba thought day after day, night after night.........that she didn't belong in this village. so she thought of running away.....but it was hard. she knew that it wasn't good to stay in a village where you aren't wanted, but she honestly liked this village. even thought she doesn't know who her parents were, she knew this was her birth place.............but it had to be done. Shiba walked down the deep mountains for days. finally, she grew tired and rested against a big bamboo tree. Meanwhile, Inuzuka Kiba was taking Akamaru for a walk, and saw Shiba. he noticed that she had many cuts and bruises on her body, so he helped her. they talked, and became friends. it was the first time Shiba had ever made a friend, so she was a bit happy. Kiba was told about her problems at the village, so he encouraged her to go back and face her problems, instead of running away. agreeing, shiba decided to go back. keeping that memory of Kiba as a treasure, she headed back, and went back to her usual schedule. but tragedy struck..............when Shiba was playing her flute at her "place", a demon dog spirit posessed her and attacked the village. it made her destroy everything....and everyone.............Tsuchi, who happened to be gathering water for the village, came back and saw eveything destroyed. later on, he found out that Shiba had been posessed and so he sealed the spirit inside her. this somehow affected her brain, and made her lose many memories....including the ones of Kiba. while Shiba was unconcious(?), Tsuchi took her far away from the village. Shiba woke up(not remembering anything) and asked what happened. Tsuchi explained that there was a village fire, and that he and her were the only survivors. he never told of the incident or about her memories. (she only remembered her name and basically who she was and the name of the village). during 9-10 years of traveling and training, Shiba and Tsuchi ran into many problems. later on, you find out that there is a guy named Tasuki who desires to kill Shiba for unkown reasons(that you will find out later on in the manga). ...............................................thanks for reading....and.....uhhh.....eh.
