The wind beneath my wings
Newly revised! (I.e. Used to be a bunch of crap that I just babbled on about, but now it MIGHT actually have some substance!) Mostly observations about life, the universe, and everything. And friends. And enemies. And... others. ;-)

Personalities
As always, the personalities of the characters are a HUGE part of the storyline. So, I've kind of bounced off of the ideas I've gotten with my previous D&D experience to create a list of basic personality alignments:
Basic Good--does everything for everyone, tries to please, etc.
Advanced Good--actually thinks about the things they do, realizes they can't please everyone, does their best anyhow
Limited Good--does stuff for people, unless the stuff they do would somehow end up hurting themselves
Basic Self--does everything for themselves, doesn't really think about others, etc.
Advanced Self--thinks of ways to get more stuff for themselves, doesn't mean to hurt others, does it anyway
Limited Self--does most stuff for themselves, unless the stuff they do would hurt other people
Basic Evil--hurts everybody, no reason behind it, etc
Advanced Evil--evil genius type, thinks about ways to hurt people worse, actually has a reason
Limited Evil--hurts people, but if there's a chance it could go awry and hurt them, they'll give up and start over with a new plan

Plot Ideas!
TamashiiWareta
I have a few ideas we could build upon!

- You've said that there are racial stereotypes, right? What if some jerk plays the races against each other? The idea could start off a small hateful raids before entire races turn on each other... It could tie in with the second idea as well...

- There are five islands... You've stated that the central island has a mountain within. What if some Miners find a door which has directions inscribed upon it to unlock said door? This door could require one from each race to show the ultimate form of hatred or some other strong emotion to unlock their Races Seal of the Door... The jerk from the above idea could be playing the races against each other so he has free reign to make each race open their prospective door without even knowing it...

This is a really good idea! I like it. Feel free to add more, anybody!

Invitational cont.
This is the continuation of my brainstorm on the first entry. Again, feel free to comment and make suggestions.
Races will include:
- Human (good part is, they can fit any class with ease)
- Vampire
- Wolf (i.e. Werewolf, or Lycanthrope, or full Wolf)
- Angel (any kind, not necessarily good)
- Demon (any kind, not necessarily evil)
- Anthro (any hybrid of human+animal)
- Hybrid (combination of any of the above mentioned Races)
- Elf (any type: Dark, Moon, Sea, Forest, etc.)
- Anything else you can think of, but clear it with me first

Classes will include:
- Pirate: a free-spirited sea rover
- Mage: a wizard who works with the elements
- Wizard: a magic-worker who uses specific spells
- Scholar: studier of everything they can get their hands on
- Hunter: hunts things/people for a living
- Smiths: makers of goods such as jewelry and weapons
- Etc. (I'll add more when my brain decides to start working again xp )

Invitational RP
I'm thinking about starting an invitation-only RP and I'm the type of person who needs to brainstorm somewhere before I actually get to creating the thing. Soooo....... here I go.

Genre: fantasy.
Setting: alternate world.
Geography: large central land mass surrounded by four smaller islands, one at each compass point; central land mass has a huge mountain just west of its center.
Weather: mostly sunny but it rains occasionally; the storms are MUCH worse at sea, but not so bad once you hit the islands.
People: odd; all different races (species) and ethnicities (colors); many hybrids and MANY powers.
Society: racial stereotypes exist, but there are hardly any ethnic stereotypes; people make a general effort to get along, but some are just jerks; taverns are common, and bartenders are friendly.

There will definitely be more added soon. Feel free to comment and make suggestions. 3nodding
