I currently live in Canada, as if that wasn't obvious already. Or maybe not, depending if you looked at my location. Yes, it's cold. Yes, it snows... a LOT. But no, I don't live in an IGLOO. Nor, do I have huskies and penguins for pets, although the thought does interest me. *o*
I'm in my teens. Late teens, to be exact and oh do I feel old. Remember the days when you were kids and you had all the time in the world to do things you wanted to do... like sleep? Hah! That world has left my reality. My memory left with it as well, right Ica? XD
Music defines my world. I absolutely love music, and listen to almost anything, although I must say I am slightly partial to the asian genre. Oh, no, wait. I lied. I'm veeery partial to the asian genre, to the nth degree even. What can I say? I love it!! ^_^v
My favorite J-pop artists/bands include Arashi, NEWS and WaT. Meanwhile, I adore K-pop artists/bands such as Shinee and Big Bang. I tremendously love their musics, most especially Arashi and Shinee.
Why? For many reasons, many different reasons. You can't compare two different things. By doing so, you neglect what makes them unique. Thus, in saying so, I've always hated how people would often compare Japanese artists/bands with Korean ones and vice versa. Just because one band appears to be significantly better in one aspect, that's your own opinion. For another person, it could be the total opposite. They're unique. They're different. Thus, they should be appreciated the way they are.
So, why them specifically? One of the main reasons I love them, at least Arashi in this case since Shinee has been with me for only a couple of months, is how they lift my spirits. They entertain me, inspire me, make me laugh, make me cry, and invoke emotions in me that other bands just can't. They're so human that you can relate to them. The members of the band are very different to the point that you wonder how they ever get along and are special in their own way, having both strengths and weaknesses, yet despite that help each other and are like a family. However, these are just my opinion of them, but I'm sure many others will agree with me. So, Arashi,gambatte! Daisuki desu~! <3333
One of my most beloved past time is reading. Novels, fan fictions, mangas, you name it, I read it. Of course, I haven't read everything, nor do I plan to since I have to add watching Asian dramas (and a bit of movies) in my list of hobbies, that, and cooking. XD There are others, but they shall remain a secret, okay? -hushes-
