Yesterday after prbly weeks of not going to the mall, I finally went w/ my mom. We went to the Sears department store so she can payoff her debt that she owed to them while I went to the sales the had on Summer clothes. I wasn't really paying much attention to what happened to her after I finished looking at their third sales rack and I saw her talking with some guy and I called to her to come check out these really cute tops. She comes over after she is finished and I show her the tops and tease about how they look like from her time in the 80s. She smiles and agrees with me, we then walk out the store to head out to the mall and she starts talking about to this two chicanas who skipped in front of her position in the line.
After the person in front of her was done she was suppose to be the next in line until these two...ladies skipped her. Now mom isn't all that tempermental until you push her to the limit, she then says hey I was next. And they turn around and say whatever, w*****k. Now for those of you who don't know w*****k is a racial slur against people--namely Hispanics who crossed the border via the Rio Grande. And mom was a little annoyed and starts arguing with these...ladies about their racism and how do they actually know that she was a w*****k (despite the fact they were also Hispanic, too).
And as she was telling me this she spotted the same...ladies near that crane machine. I took a quick glance at them and they noticed my mom next to me. They were talking amongst themselves and I immediately shouted you, "We love you,too!!" And blew a kiss to them. The portly woman of the two started off popping off all that good s**t and all did was tell them, I love you, too!" and blew even more kisses. We then started walking away from them laughing and started talking about how true her numerology number is (she's a nine). I kept commentating on her how in her number that there are a lot of people who both love her and how there are some that loathe her.
She just laughs and declares to the ceiling, "The world may hate me but God is the one who will always love me!" I just laugh and shake my head.
