"She’s of the Kind Nighttime Insomniac"
Aurora could smell it. The scent lingered in her nostrils, teasing her with it’s delectable odor. It was nearby. The young vampire stalked around the dark streets like a hungry animal. The blood that ran down the fresh would in her neck made her throat itch and scream in pain for the crimson substance. She saw a movement, heard the shuffling of feet, saw in the darkness the arm that just barely came out of the alley way. Their heart was pounding quickly, causing the blood in their veins to pump faster than usual. Her mouth watered with anticipation. Aurora approached the human with one thought on her mind. Her gaze was fixated on the vein in the girl's neck. Aurora barely heard the scream from the girl as she bit into her neck in a sloppy manner. The blood dripped from her chin and covered her cheeks. She fed until she was fully sated, which had drained the human girl dry. Aurora set the human's limp body on the ground gently and stared at it for a moment. She had the urge to throw up but resisted it. It was the girl's first feed, for she was just changed a few hours ago. The urge to vomit had subsided for a moment, but then it came back and she puked up the blood she had just stole from the human. The girl groaned holding her stomach with one hand and supporting herself on the wall with the other. "What's... Happened...?" She mumbled to herself before she collapsed onto her hands and knees.
