Blood And Roses.
Chapter One
Dark nights have always been the worst kind of night. The moon has gone missing and everything seems to be in an eclipse of shadow and nothingness. No one is laughing under the street lamps and everything feels empty. It’s not a normal empty feeling though, not even close. It’s a feeling of deep loneliness to those who are wandering the streets. It’s the kind of loneliness that is stabbing your soul and leaving your subconscious to bleed in silence. No one really thinks about moonless nights, or the sad and lonely souls wandering the cold an damp cobble stone out side their doors. Why would they need to? It doesn’t concern them for they are not lonely and don’t know what it feels like, and the few who do just turn their backs to these souls.
This is common, human nature almost. If something has no meaning to you then why bother with problems or concerns. It’s hard to understand sometimes really. Its not like many seek the answer to this odd question of human nature. What is human nature? Is there really even something to define it? It’s one of those things no one can really answer. Yet it’s only something to wonder about on these lonely nights of blank skies and empty lives. It never ceases to amaze me.
Living among them was easy enough. I had all the needed items, a family, a house, clothes, and personality. I fit in rather well. I had to admit it wasn’t easy at first. Going to school and such attending place where you knew you didn’t belong. It was more stressful then many believe. I wouldn’t call it a false hope more or less a simple-minded gesture of nothing.
