Occupation: Janitor, refrigerator gnome*, member of the Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee.
General personality: Lazy, calculative, persistent, generally positive.



Teruko is a young woman who prefers laying around on a rooftop somewhere with a goody-bag at her side over working. She insists that her style is observe for long periods of time, studying movements and the like before getting herself involved with dangerous situations. Despite her slow-pace, she is a skilled fighter who has capabilties of making just about any object she grabs into a potentially dangerous weapon, and is a close-combat fighter. Because of her laziness, she often misses discussion sessions with the other members of the Restoration Committee, which usually earns her cleaning duty in Merlin's house or around the market area. Disliking it at much as she may, she honestly prefers shoving around debris more than she does getting involved in other things.

Coming from an average background, Teruko was a problem child because of being raised by quarreling parents, and then eventually by a near unsupportive single parent. She tried attending school, attemped to stay interested and motivated to get through, but dropped out before long and continues to say (even after six years) that she has no intentions of going back. Teruko tends to think in the moment and focuses on what's before her eyes, rather than trying to foreshadow. She comments that she doesn't have any high expectations for herself and is comfortable living as she is now.

Characterized by her lethargic and precise personality, she is also known for having bright yellow hair, always unkempt and fluffed out. She chooses to dress casually, with loose enough clothing for her to move quickly in battle. Her look is completed by a simple purple tank top that is snug to her body, stopping several inches below her breasts with a jacket of matching color, gray sweat pants, red shoes and a simple tie-belt as her accessory.

General Personality: Realist, overly pessimistic, informal, "content", reliable.



Characterized by being pragmatic and reliable, Ebony's maturity easily surpasses his older sister's, which he considers to be "a real bother" because he doesn't think she takes things as seriously as she should. While significantly lacking the energy that his sister has, Ebony is a fairly active young man who is always trying to find something to do one way or another.

Nickname: Ive

Age: 17-23 (KH); 23-25 (FF)
Height: 6'0 even
Occupation: Mechanic, engineer, pilot (all three for KH and FF), motorbike racer (FF)
General personality: Opimistic, somewhat emotionally detached, informal, carefree.


Ivory is a young woman with exceptionally high-energy and is always outwardly optimistic and very approachable. She's never had trouble making friends, although keeping them is what proves to be a challenge. Despite her behavior on the outside, she is quite detached and unable to really connect or bond with people on an emotional level, so she's not really empathetic. Ivory is the kind of person who prefers to handle personal/emotional troubles on her own for the fear of people assuming her as "weak". Externally, she comes off as rather carefree and doesn't show much care in things that don't interest her, but if asked, she would gladly be of assistance to someone.

Coming as the first child of two, it was expected of her to mature more rapidly for the sake of her younger brother, but the roles were reversed. She adopted the blithe, and kind exterior while her brother took to the darker, more pessimistic side of things. Because of this, it has caused a heavy tension between Ivory and her brother, as it is seen that they rarely share similar ideas and argue on nearly everything. This is where her brother claims that Ivory is the "instigator".

Ivory shows immense intelligence to her areas of expertise and is more than eager to show this through her inventions to her ability to quickly learn to operate vehicles or creating blueprints for various things. He skills fall mostly into mathematics and certain sciences, and most of her knowledge obtained in other speciality areas were from hands-on experience and self-study, which she spent many grueling hours completing.

In general, Ivory is a peaceful woman who shows incredible tolerance and a temperment that is difficult to send off. Along with this, she is competitive in races, and isn't afraid to work in tricks into her bikes to give her advantages.

Her look depends significantly on her age and which series she is placed in. In FF with her as the main attraction she is seen wearing something quite similar to what I have this cosplay avatar of her wearing. As a 23-25 year old woman, she has grown less concerned on her apperance and focuses more on her comfort in which her look consists of a white/gray bandeau top with dark gray/black overalls that she typically has tied around her waist. She always has a thick pair of gloves with her, and a pair of boots that she meticulously chooses. Occasionally she has a pair of goggles on the crown of her head, usually on the days that she chooses to work with her bikes. It's rather uncharacteristic to see her without a utlity belt and several wrenches protruding from the various pockets on her overalls.

Conversely, her KH version is quite different. Ivory in the KH-verse is fresh of certain happenings that make her uncomfortable and most of the time she would choose to conceal most of her body, including her arms and neck. As time goes on, she becomes less worried of such things and eventually begins dressing as she does in FF, with her discomfort of attention still quite obvious. For a long time being, she had her right arm wrapped, somdays wearing a jacket with a high collar to hide her neck as well.

The reason for this is because she sustained a severe burn injury that left a "hideous" scarring behind which covers about 92% of her right arm, most of that side of her neck (it didn't reach her face) and around 3 or 4% of the right side of her body. I tried to represent that with the brown tattoo. The burns and scarring exists in both the KH and FF-verse, with slightly different reasons to how they occurred.


CHARACTER RELATIONSHIPS

Cid Highwind: Whether it is KH or FF, Cid plays an important role as development for Ivory. She was inspired by Cid's abilities as a pilot and engineer to become one herself, in addition, it was through his encouragement that Ivory started fixing and making motorbikes. It pays off in the end since she is eventually recognized as one of the most highly-regarded motorbike racers there is. (FF-AU)

Ivory shows much more respect for Cid in the FF-AU than what she does in the KH-verse, as she is much younger and still developing. At that time, there is a lighthearted rivalry between the two, mostly when it comes to security systems around Hallow Bastion/Radiant Garden, blueprints for gummi ships and such. In spite of this, Ivory is still grateful for Cid's help and does what she can not to disappoint him. Although it's not surprising to see them arguing over something.




RANDOM FACTS

- At one time, Ivory had a scary-long last name that I dumped, luckily. She's currently without a last name now.

- The tiara twist hair is what her actual hair is like. Call it coincidence, but I came up with that hairstyle for her before I knew/joined Gaia.

- Her original character design closely resembles a Japanese geisha.

- One of the first OC's I've ever created and spent so much time developing.

- Ivory is never seen without a wrench somewhere on her body, or nearby.

- The yin-yang piece is mostly to symbolize her and her brother, not an actual item.
