“There are still a lot of repairs to be done…and there are missions coming in still too…” Tsunade sighed.
“Tsunade sama?” Shizune asked.
“Call Rei and Sakura.” Tsunade sighed again.
“Yes…” Shizune left the room.
“Uuhh…This isn’t good…” She looked over the village. There were people working on houses and shops.
“I…wish there was more I could do…But I have to keep everything in order…” Tsunade told herself.

*knock, knock*
The door opened after a minute. Ai stood in the doorway.
“Is your mother home?”
“Uh-huh, I’ll be right back. You can come in if you want…” Ai disappeared up the stairs. She knocked on the door to her mothers study.
“Come in Ai…”
Ai opened the door and peeked in “Mama Miss Shizune is here to see you…”
“Ok…” Sakura got up out of her chair and started for the door.
“Rei she probably wants to see us both…”
“Right…” She got up to.
Sakura and Rei went down the stairs. Ai stared at her brother’s room. The door was open, it was unusual for him to leave it open like that. She walked over and looked in.
*he’s not here…* She shut the door. *I wonder where he went at a time like this…*
“Ai we’re leaving!”
She quickly ran down the stairs and hugged her mother tightly. She started to cry for the first time since the incident happened. She hadn’t had time to cry or be afraid.
“Uh Ai what’s gotten into you my little one?”
“Mommy be careful!”
“It’s alright I’ll be fine…”
She bent down and wiped away the tears in her daughter’s eyes. “I promise.”
Ai nodded to her mother. Then they left with Shizune.

“We have a problem…well actually several problems. You see there are a lot of repairs being done, a lot of people in need of medical attention, and there are missions to be completed.”
“Yes, and with lots of the villages ninja hurt or helping out there just isn’t time for much else.”
Shikamaru sighed.
“That’s right, and there’s another problem. We are looking at another war; we can’t just let that go unnoticed either.”
“There’s just too much to be done and no one left to do it…” Rei said.
“Even so it all has to get done.” Sakura added.
“That’s correct.” Tsunade sighed.
“Why are we here?” Shikamaru asked impatiently.
“Well even though Rei isn’t a Konoha ninja she’s willing to help and if she helps so will Itachi. You Shikamaru are here to help with the plans if a war should break out. And Sakura and I are going to assess how long the repairs are going to take and how many ninja we have that are capable to do missions.”
“Right!” They answered together.
“Shikamaru come with me.” Shizune gestured to the door.
“Ah…man…” He followed her out.
“Rei, I’m going to give you two missions at once.”
“Fine I can handle it.”
“Good…”

“I have to get stronger!” Seiji spoke to him self.
He was training at the Uchiha training field.
“Fire ball jutsu!” He hit his target and it went up in flames.
“Huff, huff, huff… I can’t stop now.”
*rustle* Ai stepped out from the bushes.
“I knew I’d find you here…” She sighed.
“Ai what are you doing here?”
“I just wanted to know where you’d went.”
“Oh…”
She walked over to her brother.
“You didn’t even bring water for yourself.” She giggled as she handed him a bottle of water.
“Thanks I guess I was just in a hurry…” They sat down.
“Why… why didn’t you tell anyone you were coming here?”
“I don’t know… I just thought I’d come and train for awhile before anyone got up…”
“But it’s already three… If mom had seen you were gone she’d…”
“I know. But I think she knew.”
“What do you mean?”
“I think she saw me leave this morning. She was looking out the window at me…at least I think that’s what I saw.”
“Really, hmmmm…”
“She did see you leave.” Itachi jumped down from a tree.
“Why are you here?” Seiji asked jumping to his feet.
“Seiji who is he?” Ai whispered as she stood up.
“I guess your mom hasn’t showed you a picture of me yet has she?”
“Mom says we shouldn’t talk to you!” Seiji raised his voice.
“You don’t listen to her though do you… if you did you wouldn’t have been here since six in the morning.”
“H…how do you know how long I’ve been here?”
“You couldn’t sense me could you?” Itachi took a few steps forward.
“Stay there! You shouldn’t even be here!”
“I’m allowed to be here… This is after all my home.”
“That’s right Seiji…” Ai whispered.
“So you’re the smart one… Ai was it?”
“Don’t answer!” Seiji snapped at his sister.
Itachi walked by them to the dummy Seiji had burnt.
“That’s your best jutsu isn’t it?” He said eyeing the burnt dummy.
“Yeah…”
“It’s been a long time since I’ve been here.”
“What?” Ai asked.
“Hmm… you want to know?”
“I…I guess…”
“You’re supposed to be strong right?” Seiji asked.
“Stronger than your mother anyway.”
“But I though that mama was the strongest person in the village next to Tsunade-sama! She told us herself!”
“That doesn’t matter…You Seiji do you think this is the best you can do with the fire ball jutsu?”
“Y…yeah.”
“Then let me show you something…”
Itachi used a hand seal and then did the fire ball jutsu. The flame was at least four times the size of Seiji’s.
“Wow…”
“You are not as strong as you can be!”
“But how do I get stronger?” Seiji couldn’t help but ask. Itachi was so strong and Seiji had to get stronger.
“You find that out on your own…”
“ITACHI...” Rei landed in front of him.
“What are you doing, you promised Sakura you would stay away from them!”
“Rei!” He yelled her name but it sounded more like how dare you speak to me like that. And that’s basically how she took it.
“I…I’m sorry.” She said.
“What do you have there?” He saw the papers in her hand.
“We have orders from the Hokage... are you going to except them?”
“Of course…let’s go.” He left.
“You two go home! And don’t tell your mom he spoke to you!” Then Rei left too.
Seiji just looked after them.
“Seiji?”
“Did you see the way she acted when he yelled at her? It was like she was his slave or something. But she didn’t look afraid or upset that he yelled at her. She even apologized.”
“That was really strange now that you mention it.”
“I wonder what her story is, all we know is that she follows that Itachi around and is mom’s friend.”
“Yeah…”
“Let’s go Ai”
“Yeah ok…”
