“We have to get the missions given to us completed!” Tsunade sighed.
“Tsunade-sama what are you going to do?” Shizune asked.
“Call in Shikamaru’s group!”
“Yes.” Shizune left the room.
After a while Shizune came back with Shikamaru’s group.
“I have a mission for the four of you.”
“Yes, Finally a mission!” Seiji yelled.
“Calm down! You’re so hyper!” Kira scolded.
“Yeah, yeah okay!” Seiji looked at her.
“You idiot…” Yutaro sighed.
*The first time I’ve seen him since then and he still acts like an idiot!* Yutaro thought.
Just then Seiji swung his arm around Yutaro’s neck and tugged on him. “I heard that you know?”
“That was my intention!” Yutaro replied as he pushed Seiji off him.
Before they could start fighting, Kira grabbed both of them by an ear. “Don’t start!” She scolded.
“Owowow..! That hurts…”Seiji whined.
“Then don’t go at it this early in the morning!” She sighed as she let go of them. Yutaro rubbed his ear which was now red. While Seiji was making a big deal of it, whining and pouting about it. Even as they were leaving he was still whining which earned him a slap from Kira.
“Ah…man…don’t be troublesome Seiji.” Shikamaru sighed.
“Yeah, yeah…”Seiji said.
“Idiot!” Yutaro whispered. He thought no one could hear him say it but Kira heard it.
“What was that?” She looked annoyed.
“Hehehe…oh nothing…” Yutaro didn’t want to get his ear torn right off so after that he kept quiet.

(Somewhere’selse that’s not here)

“Kiba sensei…” Ai looked at her teacher.
“Shhh…”
“What’s going on sensei?” Kyo asked.
“Rup rup ruuuu…”Akamaru barked.
“This sent…you remember it too?”
“Roof…”
“What is it Kiba sensei?” Ai asked again.
“It’s nothing, let’s keep going.”
“Right..!” They answered together.
*Naruto…* Kiba thought to himself.

“Haruhiboshi, naze aoi?” Kira started to sing as she usually did when they had a long way to walk. The boys especially Seiji were entranced by her voice. They both cared about her a lot. “Yuube ka yume wo mita…Warai mama ore hanashi… Aoi me yo…Haruhiboshi naze korede...?” She sang.
“Kira!” Shikamaru stopped her.
“Uh…” She stopped.
Rei was jumping through the trees, she stopped.
“Uh…Sh…Shikamaru..!” She jumped down in front of him.
“Rei!” She was covered in blood. She threw herself into his arms.
“What happened? Where’s Itachi?”
“Shi…Shikamaru…!” She cried.
“Miss Rei…” Seiji said under his breath.
“You know her Seiji?” Yutaro asked.
“Kinda…”
“Rei you’re full of blood! Are you hurt?” Shikamaru asked.
“N…no I…I’m fine…It’s…” Her eyes shot up and looked in to his. “IT’S HIS BLOOD!” She cried.
“UH…” Shikamaru looked the way she had come from.
“SHIKAMARU HELP HIM! PLEASE…”She cried.
“Ah…man how’d this happen?” he said to him self.
“Shikamaru…” Rei buried her face in his shirt.
“Seiji, Kira, Yutaro stay with her!”
They nodded.
“It’ll be alright I promise…Now smile for me so I don’t have anything to worry about?”
She lifted her face and smiled. Then Shikamaru ran off. When he was out of sight Rei dropped to her knees.
“Miss Rei!” Seiji said as he got down by her.
“I…I’m fine Seiji…”
Kira got down on the other side of her and pulled out a cloth. She wiped the blood off Rei’s face.
“Thank you…” Rei managed to say.
“I’m Kira…”
“Kira…”
Yutaro stared out in the direction his sensei went.
*Who is she? Where did sensei go? Why did he go?* Yutaro was definitely a thinker. He liked to think things through like Shikamaru. He walked over to Rei and the others.
“What happened?” He asked.
“We…we were…” Rei tried to explain.
“YUTARO! Can’t you see she’s been through a lot?” Kira yelled at him.
“Kira! We need to know what happened!” Yutaro snapped at her.
“…” Kira didn’t say anything.
“We were coming back from a mission…when…” She started.
FLASHBACK Rei is telling this.

“Let’s hurry back.” Rei smiled.
“Yeah…” Itachi said looking over his shoulder.
“Something wrong?” Rei asked.
“No…let’s go…”
They left for Konoha. Just before they reached the border of the countries they were ambushed. Itachi was badly hurt when he tried to protect Rei. She ran to him.
“ITACHI…” She yelled.
“R…Rei…run…get ou…out of here! GO!”
“I…I won’t leave you…”
“Rei! Go!” he yelled.
She left. As she was running away she found Shikamaru’s squad.
END FLASHBACK

“I see…” Yutaro looked in the direction Shikamaru had run in again.
“Seiji.” He said looking to his friend.
“Yeah.” Seiji nodded.
“Then let’s go!” Yutaro said.
“But…you heard sensei!” Kira yelled at them.
“We have to go, Kira! If we don’t Sensei will be in trouble!” Seiji said.
“You stay here with her!” Yutaro ordered.
“Al…alright…” She sighed.
Seiji and Yutaro followed after Shikamaru.
“She must have meant Itachi when she said ‘him’.” Seiji said to himself.
“What?” Yutaro asked.
“Nothing just thinking out loud, sorry.” Seiji laughed.
“Hurry up!” Yutaro yelled as he picked up speed.
“Yeah..!” Seiji moved at a faster pace as well.
*Itachi is strong so…how’d he get hurt?* Seiji thought to himself.
“Seiji!” Yutaro pulled him in to a bush. “Look…”
Seiji looked to where Yutaro was pointing. Shikamaru and a badly wounded Itachi were fighting Cloud ninja.
“Itachi…” Seiji whispered.
“Who..? You do you know him?” Yutaro asked quietly.
“He’s…my uncle.”
“Ahh…” Yutaro looked closer. “Isn’t that the guy we saw a while back on the mission to the Land of Waves?”
“Yeah...”
“Ahhhh..!” One of the Cloud ninja yelled as Itachi used the Fire ball jutsu.
“Wow…I didn’t know that you could use it like that.”
“Me either…”

Shikamaru ran at the ninja he was fighting. He knocked him down. Itachi was taking out another ninja. A ninja got behind Shikamaru and sliced his shoulder open. Itachi got between them and kicked the ninja so hard he landed under a tree only a few feet away from Yutaro and Seiji.
“Watch yourself!” Itachi warned Shikamaru.
“Yeah…” He said.
Then the two of them separated to attack the rest.
“Should we help them out?” Seiji asked.
“They seem to be doing alright on their own.”
Just then 30 more Cloud ninja surrounded them.
The Cloud ninja attacked and the two of them were way out numbered. Shikamaru and Itachi couldn’t fight.
“Now!” Yutaro yelled as the two of them jumped from the bushes.
“Seiji go for it!” Yutaro yelled.
Seiji nodded and used a hand seal.
“Fire ball jutsu!”
Only a few ninja got hurt from that but it helped. They jumped over to their sensei.
“I told you to wait back there!” Shikamaru said.
“Well we’re here now!” Seiji said.
“Fine…Just be careful!” Shikamaru said as he knocked out a ninja.
Yutaro went after one and so did Seiji. They did well until the Cloud ninja ganged up on them. Seiji grabbed one by the caller and kneed him in the stomach. Yutaro kicked one down and punch the one behind him. Shikamaru used the true shadow binding jutsu and knocked out four at once. Itachi was really starting to feel the pain from his injures. He was slowing down and unsteady. Even still he took down five ninja. They cut the enemies numbers down til there were only five left. They were the strongest.
“Well done well done!” The leader laughed.
“Jerk...” Seiji said under his breath.
Yutaro looked over the five that were left. The ‘jerk’ as Seiji had said, was the leader. The tall one to the right appeared to be the strongest. The other three were obviously good but not great.
“Well you made it this far, but I’m afraid you won’t go any further.” The leader said as he attacked Itachi who was obviously wounded. He was fast to fast for Itachi who was now in a great deal of pain. He was going to kill Itachi. Rei punched him so hard she broke his nose.
“Don’t…Don’t ever attack him again!” She yelled as the leader fell on the ground.
“You b***h!” He said with his hand over his nose. “Get them!” He ordered.
Rei ran behind them and tripped one. Then she grabbed the other one and kicked him so hard she broke his ribs. The crack they made when they broke was awful to hear. As the one was getting up she kicked him in the face. The last ones left were the tall guy and the other useless one. The two attacked Rei at once. She couldn’t get both of them. She would have to try and dodge them. She did and they hit each other. Kira ran to Rei’s side.
“You take that one!” Kira said pointing to the tall one.
“Got it..!” Rei went after him.
Kira ran at the ninja got behind him and as he turned around she moved back around him. She kicked the back of his knee and as he fell she punched the back of his head.
*Poof*
“A... Bushin?” She said.
“Got you now!” The ninja jumped down from a tree behind her.
“KIRA..!” Shikamaru wouldn’t reach her in time.
“OH NO YOU DON’T” Seiji and Yutaro said as the jumped in front of him and punched his head simultaneously. They were very protective of her.
Rei took out the tall guy pretty fast he was slow and she was fast. It was an easy victory. As the tall guy fell she turned around and smiled. Itachi fell to his knees. Rei ran over to him.
“Itachi, Itachi..?” Rei held him in her arms.
“He’s lost a lot of blood…” Shikamaru said as he looked over Itachi. He was covered in his own blood. It was from two big wounds on his chest.
“Shikamaru…” She looked at him.
“We’re on a mission now…” He sighed.
“I see…”
“But I can’t just let him die now can I” He said. “No that would make you sad…and that would be troublesome.” He smiled as he picked up Itachi and carried him to the hospital.
“Thank you Shikamaru…”

“This is your report from the mission then?” Tsunade asked.
“Yes ma’am.” Kiba answered. “Ummm…” He sighed.
“What is it?” Tsunade said as she was looking over the report.
“Well…On the mission…I caught the scent…from someone.”
“And…Who was it?” She asked still not looking up.
“It was…Naruto Uzumaki.” She looked up as he answered.
“Naruto Uzumaki..?”
