Wow.. I can't believe how long I have abandoned this journal. So many things had happened, yet they weren't recorded and I'm afraid that I might forget the past. ;; I need to space out my time and fight a way to keep on writing in here, for the sake of wanting events to stay in memory and when I grow up, I can glance back at these and remember. Ah.. the dreams of a weird teenager. xD
Anyway, to sum up a lot which had happened, I opened a Graphics minishop and closed the Avi Art minishop. Business changed from poor to excellent, which I am proud of. I gain around 15k everyday which is a real change of things - I can't believe that it'll be so successful! I completed my Katana quest easily and am now progressing to a Ninja Headband - already about 1/6 complete in less than a week. ._. I'm amazed with how fast this went. It just rushed past xD Also, Ace, Sadistic and I have been working on veela-chan's RP - and I must admit, it's the best Inuyasha roleplay I've had in my life. It's just awesome in every way I can think of despite that I don't have as much characters as I want - I only control my beloved Miroku and Shippo, but that's enough for me. It's just entertaining. =D
Also, Caladhiel has been gone for a week now on her holiday in Europe and dad left last Saturday to go to Greece. They will both return on Friday/Saturday so I can't wait to see them.. and then hug them. xD Exactly a week ago, however, the city of Sheffield was flooded. o_O School was closed for two days (Tuesday and Wednesday) and I had to miss my Maths GCSE (Numbers) Exam and I was so ready to take it too...>> It ticked me off and poor Yonder-chan had to listen to me ranting about it. xD In fact, I ranted so much that yesterday, when Angel asked me about what had happened, I recounted the incident but my anger was completely gone. o.O I wonder how I was, really, when I ranted earlier on to Yonder. Must've been really, really bad. xD
But that's it for the past (I think). Now, moving on to the main thing of this journal's entry: The visit of Malcolm Rose and Anthony McGowan to our school.
In all honesty, if it weren't for that flood, I would have missed the two authors because I would've gone to Hillsborough for our Super Learning Day, learning Creative Writing with the lecturers there. But thankfully, Hillsborough College was drowned, so I was saved from going there. xD Without dad, I don't even know how to go there. ;; But anyway, at least I met them. The first three lessons of the day (remember, I had English all day) was with the college teacher and she teaches us the power of language and how we can manipulate it as good authors - or good writers, I should say. I learned a lot, really, and I hope I can write soon so that I can apply my newly-required skills.
Fourth lesson was just listening to Malcolm Rose about his books - and he's awesome. Fifth lesson - we listened to Anthony McGowan as well, and he's funny - like his book, Henry Tumour. XD I enjoyed it all very much. <3 But then, I had a little private talk with Malcolm Rose, complaining that the best books by him (in my opinion) called the 'Lawless and Tilley' series (consists of seven books so far) was hard to find and he admitted that he was annoyed by that because the publishers refused to print out more of those books. So Malcolm told me to meet him after school and that he will sell them to me - all except the first and the sixth which, unfortunately, are the rarest ones in the market. But I bought all five anyway (with a generous discount by Malcolm Rose) and I had them autographed. =D
I'll see them both again, of course (+ I hope) when we're going down to see the Sheff. Book Awards. BEst of luck to them both, but secretly.. I don't think either will win the biggest award. McGowan might, of course.. because of his extremely bizarre book. xD
