Kagome and I followed InuYasha into the woods. "Kagome.....did you ...meet anyone along your way here? Like teenagers or something?" Kagome shook her head. "All we saw was some furniture and stuff. Why?" "Well," I began, "these woods are a sort of hangout for teenagers who...well lets just say they won't hesitate to use a lethal weapon on you if you bug them. I'm suprized Mom let me come in here, but I suppose its 'cause me an' InuYasha could protect us all if we really needed to." Kagome looked around worried. "Well, we won't have to worry so much, because the well is in a deserted place, and not too far away." I sighed of relief. "Actually, there it is now!" Kagome pointed to where InuYasha was waiting for us. The well looked exactly like the one at Kagome's house. "Come ON, lets see if this will work." And with that, InuYasha sent Kagome down, then looked at me. "You think you can do it?" he asked me. "Sure, why not?" I said, walking towards it. On the outside, I acted so sure of myself, but inside, I was deathly worried that I wouldn't be able to do it. I took a deep breath and lept in. It was deeper than I thought, I thought to myself as I fell in. Then I noticed that everywhere around me was glowing blue, then I touched down. InuYasha appeared beside me. "Heh, I guess you can do it." he said. I smiled. "All Right!" I shouted. Then I flew to the top. It looked just like I thought it would. Just like in the manga. I could've cried right on the spot I was so happy. I saw Kagome running over to me. "YOU DID IT!" she exclaimed, hugging me. "Yep!!!" I hugged her back. "I can hardly believe it. I've wanted to come here SO badly." InuYasha began walking towards what I supposed was the village. "Well, let's go. I think Kaede need to check you out." Kagome and I followed. When we got there, Shippo ran to us. "Hey, guys! didja find what you...were...." he stopped and stared at me. "Hi shippo!" I said. He jumped. "How'd you know my name?" "I know all of your names, and I know all about you all." I smiled at him. "I'll explain after everyone is here, so I don't have to keep re-telling the story. Man, I hate when I have to do that." So the 4 of us went into Kaede's hut. "my, who's this child?" she asked when she saw us. "She looks like she's from Kagome's time." Sango noted. Miroku nodded. Then he got up and grabbed my hand. "Would you do the honor of bearing my children?" he said, beginning to rub my butt. "Sure." I said. Everyone stared at me. "Really?" Miroku asked. I took his hand off my butt and slapped him. "No," I said. Everyone laughed, except InuYAsha, who rolled around the floor in a laughing fit. I turned to Kaede. "They're right;I am from Kagome's time." I sat down and explained everything. "Ah, I see. So you need to learn how to fight with your powers. And InuYasha said he's help." Kaede said. "Yeah, but I can't come back until my exams are over. Lets see...that'll be...about a week and a half. Then I can get some serious training in." InuYasha smirked. "you know, we can't stay here too long. We need to fins Naraku." "ooooooooooooh let me help! Could I come???" I begged. "We'll see." I smiled, then sighed. "o.k." Kaede looked at me for a minute then said "If you could get here from the same well as Kagome, then your well must be made of the same tree." I shook my head. "But thats not possible. I'm from America." Kaede thought for a minute then said "I've heard that the tree had a Brother on the other side of the world. Perhaps its that one that made your well, and since its the brother tree, it has the same power." I nodded and put my fist in my hand."That must be it then" I said.
For the rest of the day I really got to know everyone, and we became fast friends. Especially Shippo, who was on my shoulder after half an hour. InuYasha was the only one who seemed indefferent to me, but I suppossed as much. He always acts that way. By sunset I was sad to leave, and Shippo nearly begged me to stay, but I returned home for dinner.
