Stupid movies make me closer to my friends and family. Being able to share in how terribly funny and stupid something is is great for between such persons.
For example:
Sunday, dad and my sister went with me to see Shaun of the Dead. Perhaps one of the best satiracle films in quite some time. I had a blast. Nothing better than mundane brits with mundane zombies, right? Especially when you get a good hearty laugh out of your dad and can freak out your sister.
last night I saw Team America, World Police. Man, Nicky and Robert were laughing as hard as I was. Man it was stupid in all the right ways of satire!
Some time ago, I saw Kung Pow: Enter the Fist. We went slightly tipsy and no one was there but myself, Mylius and Kenneth (man I miss those boys). I've rarely had such a good time.
But then, if I want to be inspired, I see things like Hero, which was brilliant!
Speaking of which, I need to read up more. Once the meeting is over, I'll be able to relax finally. Ooo.. I haven't seen the Fushigi Yuugi DVD Trisha got me... hmmm...
