Our world is a noisy place. No matter what anyone says, "peace and quiet" will only be experienced by inanimate objects. Everyone else will have to live with it. Human nature is really funny sometimes, people hate noise, yet they need it at the same time. One good example of this "necessary evil" ? Custom ringtones on your cell phone.
Anyone here in the forums has either used them or heard them. Sounds range from various song clips to that god awful Jamster tones. People actually pay for that crap ?
Heck, even my classmate's phone is designated to have screaming girls for one person and a sound clip from a porn flick for another. (On a side note, it was funny to hear orgasms go off in class. The reaction on other people's faces were priceless. One of the girls REALLY took her time during her smoke break) *laughs*
Getting back on subject, is it that hard to figure out who is calling you these days ?! Maybe I'm a curmudgeon (or old fashioned). If it rings, it rings. Simple as that.
