When I woke up, it was twilight; my favorite time of the day. Twilight in the morning, when everything is silent, and twilight evening, when the sky turns into your own personal light show. I got up and looked at InuYasha, who was sleeping next to Kagome, watching over her at night. I smiled;they were so wonderful together. I walked around a little, then in one sudden *woosh* I was in the air, flying around, no strings attached. I loved flying more than anything in the world. I could never walk if I wanted to, but I've gotten used to walking in my time. I glided around until I heard a noise below. Miroku and Sango were looking up at me, smiling. I flew down to them. I noticed that InuYasha, Kagome, and Shippo were still asleep. "Hey, g'morning." I whispered. They smiled. "Good morning, Bella." Miroku said. "How'd you sleep?" I nodded. "Fine." I said. Sango looked at me strangley. "Are you sure?" she asked. "...yes..." I finally said. "What do you mean? Why do you two look so worried?" I looked from one to the other. Miroku said "Well, we heard you crying my the stream, and you were whimpering a little in your sleep. We just wanted to know if anything was wrong." I thought for a minute. I recalled something about a dream I had, but it was a little fuzzy. It had something to do with Kagome and InuYasha fighting about Kikyo, and I was standing there, unable to make them stop. I remember feeling angry that InuYasha was being so mean to Kagome, uncaring to her feelings. "Well, I think I know why I was whimpering, but don't worry about it; it was nothing." They gave me one more worried look, then we began to make breakfast. InuYasha suddenly woke up....as soon as he smelled the food, probably. "Hey, InuYasha." I said. He nodded. "Hey." He averted my eyes. To tell the truth, I didn't really know why. I wasn't mad or anything.......Kagome and Shippo were waking up now too. Together we ate, then got up and on our way along the road. It was mostly quiet. Usually, I don't like quiet. Once in a while I really need it, though. Now was not one of those times. So I began to sing. I really like to sing, especially when the song relates to whats going on, or how I feel. I decided to sing On My Way From the Brother Bear movie. I know it must sound stupid, but I really like this song. They stared at me the whole time. But when I finished, Shippo jumped on my shoulder and asked if I would sing it again. So I did. This time they seemed to like it. When I finished again, Kagome said "Wow, Bella, you're voice is good." I smiled. "Yeah, right. I can only sing, like, one octave. Other than that, I'm horrible." Shippo shook his head. "No, Bella, you're voice is very pretty." I laughed. He's just so innocent, you can't NOT believe him. "Thank you Shippo. Do you mind if I sing again? And maybe another day too?" Shippo nodded. "Please." he said. So as we walked, I taught Shippo the song I was singing. By lunch, he was pretty good. We stopped for lunch. As I was making my food, I heard Miroku and Sango talking.
"She sure seems happy. But do you think you're right?"-Sango
"Well, I don't know. Its only a theory. She could've just gotten worked up on Kagome's account. We don't need to jump to any conclusions yet. They're not even talking to eachother."-Miroku
"Yes, I suppose you're right."-Sango
They were talking about me. Why though? Of course I was happy. Why wouldn't I be? .....It dawned on my then. They were talking about me and InuYasha. The only reason I wasn't talking to him was because he wasn't talking to ME! And WHAT theory was Miroku talking about? I decided to ignore it. Whatever his theory was, it was probably wrong. I ate my lunch in silence. I'm not the kind of person who needs to fill up every quiet minute with chatter. After we ate, we packed up, and began to walk again. Sango was next to me, with everyone a little ahead of us. I could just be going crazy, but I think that it was planned to be like this. Especially when Sango began to talk to me. "Are you mad at InuYasha?" she asked. I stared, then shook my head. "No. Why'd you think that?" Sango looked unsure. "Well.....Before the fight, you were always talking to him, even if it was just teasing. Now you're all silent. Whats up?" I looked over to InuYasha. He was talking to Kagome. "Well, he's not talking to ME, so....."actually, I couldn't think up an answer. "Um....well, I don't know why I'm not talking to him. I'm just not." Sango nodded, even though she looked confused. I looked around a little, totally ADD. (I'm not, but...at that moment it seemed like I was. lol ^^) I started humming On My Way again, and Sango didn't try to talk to me. Nope, it was Kagome who spoke next. I didn't notice when she was with Sango and me, but suddenly she was there, and was calling my name. "What?" I asked. She looked away. "Well......why aren't you talking to InuYasha? I mean, you seemed to be fine before....well, you know..." I sighed. "Look, Kagome, I'm just-" Suddenly something dawned on me. I knew why I wasn't talking to InuYasha. "Kikyo."I muttered, and felt my insides burning and exploding. Yep, that was it. Kagome looked at me. "What about Kikyo?" she whispered. I chringed at her name again. "I'm mad that he loves Kikyo. And feels like he has to repay her with his life, like she did for him. It bugs me, really it does. She didn't have to die for him, it was optional. He shouldn't feel guilty. It was accadential. I mean HELLO?!? She's such a......well, i mean, she's not REALLY, she's actually kinda.....nice....(I chringed at that realization) But I still don't like her. AT ALL." Kagome nodded, taking it all in. Finally she said "You're right." I stared at her. "Huh?" She went on. "You're totally right. It was an accident, what happened. He doesn't need to feel guilty at all." I nodded, then looked away. This wasn't going to be easy, was it?

lol that kinda ended weird, but I gotta eat now. I'll post more later! ^^
