I accidentally burned myself with hot water at work today. One of our regular costumers wanted me water down our coffee because it's so strong. I had to agree with him on that. I used the espresso machine, which has a set amount, to fill it instead of the the coffee urn, which has manual control. After the first time, the cup still wasn't full, so I started filling it a second round. When I noticed it was getting too full, I yanked the cup away and it spilled on me.
The managers were really worried. They got me ice, and I had to fill out an accident report. The good thing was, the burn ointment they gave me took care of the swelling and the redness right away.
