Yesterday was my birthday and I turned 17 years old. Yay?
I don't wana grow older, but I do wana move out so bad. I can't wait until the summer! xd Or at least until the first semester is over, then I don't have to worry about english class any more!! XD
Anywayz, I didn't get anything for my birthday. Only Beth gave me a card, and some of my friends forgot. sad
One of my good friends didn't bother to show up because I told him not to make me another cupcake like he did last year. I wanted him to come though. sad
All the classes were shortened because of the Advent mass at school.
We just watched the movie The Great Gatsby in english class since we just studied the novel, and in math class, we did a little activity that involved Skittles, and I got the most Skittles. xd My math teacher even sang Happy Birthday in sign language to me too, and gave me suckers, hehe.
When I got to work, Max gave me a little present. It wasn't much, but it was the thought that counts. Yay, I'm loved. biggrin She gave me a little bath kit. She was the only one who gifted me.
When I got home, I needed the internet so bad for my homework and such, but it wouldn't connect to my laptop which really pissed me off! stressed
I had to wait until mom kicked Edward off of his computer to use his, which was late at night, so I couldn't stay on long.
My parents didn't even get me a present this year. Oh well.
Today was Beth's birthday. She turned 17 too. Kylie, her best friend, made her a big card and we all signed it. I decorated her locker with streamers, and we had a fun day today.
The classes were shortened again today because of the hockey buyout. Every year, we have a hockey buyout. Every students pays $2 to watch the school team play hockey; teachers versus students. The teachers win every year because they cheat, but I think the students won last year. The teachers won again this year. xp
We had a lot of fun together.
Classes will be shortened again tomorrow because of the talent show. xd
Ashanti and I are gona wear red and green tomorrow on civies day (no uniform) and little elf ears, hehe. I'm soo excited!
And we're all excited to give each other gifts too. I couldn't get anyone anything, even though I wanted to so bad, and I didn't really know what to get them, so I'll just give them money so they can buy whatever they want. xp
Tomorrow shall be an exciting day! biggrin
