Beginning of Life
It was dark and warm in the beginning. I was being molded by a gentle invisible hand. I knew no wrongs only a heartbeat. I knew no danger because I was safe. I did nothing but sleep and eat in the beginning. People looked at me but I didn't know. I didn't care. It was all another world that I did not want to enter. No complications or anything. I didn't know what was coming but my Maker did. He had it all planned out already. My Maker comforted me and connected me with my mother and father even though I wasn't aware of it. The months passed me by as my Maker sculpted my nose and legs and arms and my left flat foot. He ran his finger down the middle of my back and made my spine. A few more months passed and my Maker gave me a sense of humor, hearing, and the blue pigments in my eyes so I could see. Then came my fingers and toes. I was even more content with what I had. The only thing I didn't want, was to leave my maker. "I will find you my child," he told me, "For you are mine. Your parents are mine and you will be blessed. You will abandon me and I will still love you because you are my child. Now go." It took me two hours. I was screaming as the light flashed across my eyes. "It's a girl!" was the first words I heard from my mother. "And she's peeing!" were the first words from my father. Then came the adventure. The ever scathing adventure...
