i woke up 2 c starpelt looming above the apprentices den. i turned over, sorrow creeping in on me 2 c stonepaw, the only other apprentice curled up in hiz usual place which waz beside starpaw.i got up and padded over 2 sunleafs den. i peered inside 2 c her watching starpaw. sunleaf, i whisperd? she turned her golden gaze toward me. yes nightpaw?she replieed. do u need any help wit starpaw?yes!she said. suddenly, her eyz lit up and she took 1 last look before she padded toward me. if could keep an eye on him that would be woderful! ok.i said. as sunleaf enstructed me on how 2 take are of him while she waz orgabizing herbs and getting som rest, i started 2 wonder wat it would be like without me brother beside me . wen sunleaf left 2 take care of som herbs and left me 2 take care of starpaw, i bent down and gently, not 2 wake him up, cuffed him over the ear, stupid! i said.look wat u got yourself in2 now. as i kept watch over my brother, i heard a scuffling sound. a sudden scent wafted towards me from the clearing. badger! i thought. i rushed in 2 the clearimg 2 c the hideaous (sorry, i dont no how 2 spell that! sweatdrop )face glare at me then turn towards the nursery. oh no u dont! i snarled, i leaped on top of the badger and bit deap in 2 his nek. i dragged away from the nursery and let go of the creture. BIG mistake i realized as it swung is head around and glared at me before jumping ontop of me. i scraped despretly at it's belly and then started 2 faint. i realized then that it wa slowly suffacating me!!! HELP! i squeked. help me pleaz!!!sunleaf must have heard me becuz she rushed out of her den.nightpaw! she howled. she ran straight in2 fathers den. wat felt like moons later, they appeared and wen father saw the badger, he lunged at it,pulling it off of me.aking a deap breath, i lunged yet again on the asive creature and helping witemoon (sorry again! sweatdrop i just cant seem spell 2day!)kill the masive creature.wen we had finished, father and sunleaf looked at me. r u ok nightpaw? asked sunleaf before father could ask. yes i replied. just a little winded!as i looked up at the sky, i heard more rustling in the warriors den only 2 c brownfeather and mosetail appear.so that waz all that noise that we heard out hear!mousetail.her brother,(brownfeather,the deputy of stormpack)r u ok he asked the all 3 of us. yes replied sunleaaf, i better go and check on starpaw.go bak 2 your den and get som rest, ill tell the pak wat happend. ok. i said. my paws were begging for a good rest after me 1st fight.i padded of 2 the apprentces den and flopped down in the moss. wat happend last night?! asked stonepaw. youll here soon enough, at sunhigh witemoon iz going 2 call a pak meeting.and with that, layed down me head and quikly fell asleep.
