A Morning Welcome
See here now, the moon descends. See here now, the sun rises. A new dawn, a ew day, has arrived.
Birds begin to sing, their songs proclaiming The goodness of the morn. O, the sweet sound of their melodies!
The flowers open in silent grace, Welcoming the Light, greeting the bees, attracting the animals that feed.
The dew, like a blanket, covors the grass; It's thin layer nourishing the ground on which it lays and rests upon.
As the sun rises, the world also rises and wakes; The birds, the plants, the creatues of the earth. This is indeed a beautiful morning.
A morning welcoming the world.
If you can believe this, I wrote this in English after I had 30 minutes to spare after the final exam. The teacher thought it was great, so I figured I'd stick it in here first. Enjoy!
