Ok, so this weekend the only thing I was really expecting to do was go to my neighbor's grad party. I ended up getting pulled into yardwork. Our yard is about the size of a football field for those of you I haven't told yet, and so we had two lawn mowers going. No, we weren't mowing the grass either, nope, one had a yard rake or whatever it's called attached to it, the other, the 'lawn vacuum' as I call it. Basically, we were just raking up the dead grass and the sucking it up.
I didn't really expect it to take all that long, but it turned out to take the better half of the day before we finished. Yeah... I never got sunburn on my hands before, I almost didn't think it was possible... until afterwards... my face and hands were a little sunburnt, and only one of my legs was... which I still find strange... ;>_> I had a long-sleeved shirt on, so I have a tan line on my hand from it, it looks funny, because the sunburn on my hand already converted to a tan...
Well, anyways, enough babble about that, I went to Valleyfair yesterday. Me and my sister both went with a few other friends. I haven't been to Valleyfair in a few years, (I think actually shortly before the Renegade opened up...) so I was excited about it. We started off on the Wild Thing, and decided we would try to work our way around the park... Well, we ended up improvising, and going all over the place anyways...
I wasn't really planning on getting wet at all originally, but they dragged me onto Thunder Canyon. I figured, well, not everyone gets wet on there... Heh, big mistake... we're waiting in line and I notice that everyone that comes off is soaked... I'm thinking, "Crap, I'm gonna be soaked the rest of the day," and sure enough... I was the most waterlogged of all of us... xP
So much so actually, that I was still wet when we went home hours later... ;>_>
That was the last (and only) water ride I went on too... We rode the Renegade a few times, and I also went on Steel Venom for the first time, as well as Chaos and Enterprise... those two had me dizzy afterwards, especially the Enterprise...
Yeah, and I've decided that never again will I go on the red Power Tower... on all the rides I have ever been on in any theme park, I had never felt the way I did on there... I wasn't sick, but rather feeling faint... heights and me don't always get along... and that was that at it's worst for me... the blue one was fun, but never again will I go on the red one... x_x
Oh yeah, and before I even went to Valleyfair, I stopped at the library and got the third novel in the Halo series. ^_^b

Oh yes, and I also have an interview for Sonic tomorrow!! burning_eyes
