It was around six-o-clock when i finished my homework. "Finally,"I sighed "I thought I would never finish..." I then heard a loud knock at my door. "It's time for dinner!" It was my mom. I was too busy with my homework that I forgot about what Gein had said. "Oh shoot! It's in four hours!" I yelled accidentally. I thought of just skipping dinner but then I realized that my stomach was aching for food. "Coming," I answered as I put all my studies away. *I better not eat too much,* I thought as I made my way down to the dinner table to see a delicious meal set out before me. " A feast, for Kashi's first day of school!" My mom cheered.
"Aw, mom you shouldn't have..." I said kindly as I sat down and picked up my eating utensils. "Eat up! You'll need the energy for your-homework?" I interrupted. "Already done." I claimed proudly as I slurped up the spaggetti. "I can always count on you nowadays, you've grown up so fast." She replied.
