I wake up to find it 8:30ish in the morning. Great. I missed the known-to-be fantastic sunrises. Fantastic. Anyways, today is the first morning of Puerto Vallarta, great stuff. I sat around for about an hour, knowing that my cousin sleeps in and is hard to wake up. So, I read my book. After another hour, and alot of tempting thoughts of pranks, I decided that nine-ish was a decent time to wake up. Traditionalist that I am, I simple shook her awake, "Come on!" I complained, "Wake up! I'm hungry and I want to go eat something!" she mumbled something incomprehensibly and sat up, officially awake. Good.
I got dressed, revved, then practically bounced off the walls with impatience. When she was ready, I grabbed the room key and dashed out the door to the elevator down the hall. We went to the same restaurant we ate at last night.
I still was pretty uninformed when these types of things. I figured it would still be a menu order kind of thing, like Denny's, or Ihop..but I was wrong. It was more of a buffet. It had EVERYTHING! from eggs to oatmeal, and French toast to cereal. I had bacon and French toast, and set my norm for the week.
It was good, then I took off my cover-up when we got to the beach. The water was fantastic, bath water warm. Very good. For the most part we waded around in torso deep water, feeling around for seashells on the bottom. We found driftwood and a whole sand dollar. I took the sand dollar home, my 'found' memory.
For lunch I had...something (I don't remember what) then back to the room for relaxation time, for me to read. After that, back to the beach, then to dinner. We went to the Japanese place that they had. Mexican people cooking Japanese hmm....tasty. I had the simple Chow mein.
After that, to bed with us all. I was exhausted and looking forward to the next day
