Part 1

As i sat on the edge of the bath, i felt the heat of the water slowly takeover my bodys former temperature. A purr rumbled deep in my chest and i reached out my hand to lightly skim the hot waters surface. Another purr was realeased and i breathed in the steamy water, exhaling dramatically as it cleared my lungs. My tail lightly flopped into the water, the small "plop" echoeing from the walls of the marble bathroom i sat in.
I heard the footsteps that were close to non-existant approach the door. I snapped out of my airy trance at once, and tensed into an instinctive pose. A growl threatened to rip through my throat but the quiet laugh on the otherside of the door threw my concentration.
"Er, Ellen? You gonna have a bath or what?" he mused.
I did not reply as i swished my tail back and forth in the water. Making it clear to him i was getting in.
"Good try, that's only your tail. Get in or i'll have to come and throw you in!"
"HELL NO!" I shouted at him with a growl, "I'm getting in alright!"
I sighed and heard his laughter fade as he departed. It was hard enough being in this form let alone going in a bath of boiling water. Where i was from, snow was your comfort. Who needed heat?
Even so, i knew there was no way of escaping this. I took the towel off and let it fall on the floor carelessly and stood up to get in. I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror. My long human body pale and naked.
"Ugh.." I muttered, "disgusting."
And it was disgusting. I could not help but give in to my fears and morph back in to my original form.
"Stupid vampires!" i thought as i could no longer speak this way, "I'll set them all on fire.."
And i slowly slid into the bath letting out a purr of delight...
