Rose and Raging Fighting
Rose had noticed the goings on around her, but she was more attuned to Wolf right now, trying to focus on him, as she was his lifeline, so to speak. She noticed when Larkin's face was revealed to show a half-jaw, and she wondered half-heartedly if there wasn't some way she could Heal her. And she listened with a small smile as Chazu told Larkin about the Nogard in this dimension, and seemed to go on about how Larkin could take her, easily. Then he said he had met his grandson. Rose raised an eyebrow at that. Grandson? I wonder who Chazu was involved with?
But as Larkin did not heed Chazu's words, and became angry again, Rose doubted she'd get the chance to ask. But Nogard and Xangord deflated the situation, as they both shrunk down to mini-manas and flew into Wynn to help, also. Rose was starting to doubt Wolf would need help when she suddenly felt worry come across the line.
Rose heard Wolf ask (assumably Wynn) if a thing had always been there. And that was all she heard him say. A second later, and she felt him hit the ground in what could only have been a roll, since it felt planned.
"Wolf's come across something." Rose said to everyone in the room.
She was about to send a question off to Wolf, asking him about the thing, when she was suddenly overwhelmed by pure Rage. As Wolf howled, Rose's forehead gem turned suddenly red, and she clenched her fists. She wanted to rip things to shreds. Tear. Run. Maim. Howl. Destroy. And then she felt the attacks Wolf was feeling, as he tried to attack the monster inside Wynn.
Rose could feel every time a hit landed on the monster. And for every one that landed on the monster, Rose felt Wolf get hit by four himself. Wolf was determined; Rose felt that wash over in waves, not lessening the Rage at all. But he was losing, and quickly. She felt pain, but more importantly, a draining feeling. Like losing blood. Still, the Rage went on....

Taran and the Fallen
Taran had almost caught back up with n** when he realized she was no longer enraged, and was probably safe to approach. He heard her address them, and before Flan telepathically told him, he saw that she was about to pass out. He dashed forward, and caught her after she had fallen to her knees but before the rest of her hit the ground. Barely. A few of the spears broke, but most were still stuck in her. He carefully picked her up, and carried her awkwardly back to the ship.
Turning his head over his shoulder to address Creighton and Lizbeth, he said simply, "We need to hurry for a few reasons now."
He moved as quickly as he dared to the ship, and up onto the ramp into the cargo bay. The infirmary was up the stairs at the back of the bay; too far to take her before the hatch was secured and they could take off. So he set n** down on a long wide crate, on her side. She was a mess. He tried to remember what a vampire really could be destroyed by, but he couldn't recall. He hoped it really wasn't a wooden stake to the heart, or n** was in worse trouble than she seemed.
Taran waited near the switch to close the bay doors until Lizbeth and Creighton were on.
